This is beautiful to me. I never knew of this legend ....yet I was knowing there was something special about Beltane/Candlemas/St. Brigid the Bride...the legend and some lovely music from Ireland...Enjoy the living green of life!
Irish Blessings: St. Patricks Breastplate John Doan Harp Guitar

I like the tune. For all non-Christians consider this.
"According to tradition, Patrick returned to Ireland to convert the pagan Irish to Christianity. The Declaration says that he spent many years evangelizing in the northern half of Ireland and converted "thousands". Patrick's efforts against the druids were eventually turned into an allegory in which he drove "snakes" out of Ireland (Ireland never had any snakes)."
So its hard for me to be a fan of St Pat.; Pagan that I be. He didn't get us all.

They say that but who knows? They say a lot of things...it's speculative if one studies it....He was never made saint by any churchy organizational thingy....
I feel for every truth there are a million bazillion lies covering up what is really so...esp. when it was so long ago.
Nothing said will change my mind on that and it's obvious in todays world.
You know the game... tell one person a thing and the next tells another and gets one word wrong and the next tells another,...we have all experienced that...Imagine what happens then since then with history so long ago? It has been rewritten many times over.
I look for the reverse and the good in it myself and realize that a mt. everest so high buries the real truth.
It's what I feel in spirit in regards to seeking...I don't trust in men of the world to tell it straight EVER cause they walk zig-zaggity and been trippin over their own feet since they stepped out of the natural truly good ways of keeping the covenant of the Creator of the Universe.

Thought to add also it is not men of this world who convert anyone as I see it for God calls whom God chooses NOT whom men of this world choose. So I question such things as stated in the st. Patrick legend....etc. ...because it plain does not sound correct. However there is a word that I hear that is also written and THAT resonates to ME....So anytime I read such a thing as this dude converted so and so many, blah, blah, blah..I am like um no. Yet I do feel there is are truths in regards to st. Patrick...however what that is I can't say I know for sure and it is not paramount to the salvation of my soul.. I have corrected some who brag and say they converted so and so many when they visited a prison, etc...I have said no it was not you if so. Also for all they know those whom said may not be forthright or they end up stepping out as soon as they step in.
John 6:44 “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
