The rash on my upper face is clearing up finally but now I have a
severely swollen left eyelid both upper and lower and even eyebrow
is swollen this is just weird --I told Dr in ER that my eye was swollen
he said don't worry but it is way worse swollen now and very painful
Thankyou So much for responding as I am REALLY worried about
my left eye --I've never seen or heard of an eyebrow being swollen to
the touch ??? Last time they put me in hospital I was there for 9 days
and honestly believe I would have died if I hadn't walked out !!!i SO
want to Live for Logan and JJ (Tia is 6 months pregnant) I'm
scared cause I've had a headache for 7 days now and the whole left
side of my feed hurts --it has occurred to me due to swelling that I
might possibly have a brain tumor???i didn't realize how badly
swollen I was till last night Love and light terra

Take benadryl. I get that every year. Some weird
allergy. went to doctor, put me on antibiotics, ne yesr
later same thing.bnow at first sign I start benadryl.

Do you have a Primary Dr? ER seems to not be helping.
Keep getting help Terra till you find a Dr that will give
you some help. And pat you on the back and say you'll be
fine. At this point, from what you say there is plenty of

Shingles by the eye should always be a concern. Yes
please see another Dr. Your eyesight could be at
risk.I don't want to worry you more but has Tia had
chickenpox?How about Logan? Please read the link.
With so many now refusing vaccines its a worry,
especially of you are pregnant.

I think she has had chickenpox and most all of us had to get vaccinated
back in the day....Far as I know she is not with child or maybe I aught not
to speak for her...excuse me Terra and may you feel better soon.

Chicken pox vaccination was available from WHO in 1984, but wasn't used until late 1980s in east Asia and 1995 in the U.S. I don't know about Europe but it wouldn't have been in use before 1984.
So unless you're rather young, it wasn't required. I'm not sure it's required now, though I know it's part of routine vaccinations now.
MMR is one of the main vaccinations we all had to have (Measles,Mumps, Rubella). It doesn't include chicken pox.

am getting either more shingles which is very sensitive to touch but 1st thought is spider bite

Yes, Terra... go to an reputable doctor, as some of these your suggesting sound like they are crappy medical personnel, making your health worse then it ought to be. I've never heard of shingles going like this before in anyone..I knew an gal...Ella Fitgerald one time that we worked with the nursing home, she had shingles up her neck, but had it treated successfully...she was in the middle of an divorce and the stress from that helped made her worse off then normal....but even she healed rapidly after going for medical care. This would of been in the 1960's era.
I woke up to find someone has put my house for sale on
the internet...lawyer time perhaps? At any rate home improvement has stopped until we figure out this bogus sounding real estate advertisement. Maybe my long time
hacker at work? Much of the information about my house is untrue also. The picture of it is hideous. I'd like it taken off the internet....how long it's been listed fraudulantly...I have no idea. I'm most interested in who did this. Health Net is currently also checking into my heath insurance as we think someone tapped into it..they are tracking it, for prosecution legally also...and one reason they perhaps refuse to now serve my healthcare(doctors)...cause health net doesn't want to pay them...I may have to change my health insurance if it doesn't stop for good also. Some of this I am thinking has to do with an neighbor up the street near by perhaps. Whomever, they seem to know people I know, and are using them by name...but never the correct name 100 per cent...or correct dates either on information...just very close though... enough to be possibly transferred by others
helping them.

I agree with Nen. You must go now to a different dr or urgent care. I
believe it is shingles causing the headache & eye swelling. I sent
reiki again last night & sending healing now.

Shingles can do that when it gets in or around the eye. The doctor in ER was an idiot not to realize that.
I hate to say, but you may want to get to a doctor for that, as I know a person who went blind in one eye from the swelling from shingles.
This is one thing that's serious enough that I'm reluctant to propose natural treatments. Granted it's just they eyelid and brow now (though I'm thinking sinus and lymphatic involvement in general from what you're describing), but if it gets into the eye itself, I can't think of any natural treatment that used safely would be of help in time to prevent damage.
Hopefully I'm wrong. Antivirals and the like can be hell.
I will say that I doubt it's a brain tumor, as that wouldn't typically cause swelling of the brow or eyelid (might generate pressure behind the eye, projecting it forward) but if I'm reading this right, that's not what you're saying is happening to you.
I really hope you feel better soon.

Yes someone I knew also had it, started with a lesion on
his forehead but he was in the middle of the ocean on a
tanker and it took them a week to get him to land. It was
so hot that the infection got into his eye and he almost
lost it had it not been for the 24 hour care at one of
Spain's best eye hospitals. I agree 100% with your
assessment...Terra please go to an urgent care facility
asap! Perhaps there are eye clinics in your area?

Dr at hospital put me on IVs and liquid anti viral right not my veins
helped a lot and sent me to a follow up appointment today where the
Doc put me on antibiotic eye drops and said my eyes were fine that
this swelling was not that unusual with shingles except mine was a
severe case --Leave it to me--- Shingles are drying up my face looks
like someone beat me up o:(
my daughter TIA was born in 1982 and she is 6 months pregnant !! I
don't think Logan /age 4 has has a chicken pox shot ???BUT HE
HAS HAD ALL OF HIS REQUIRED IMMUNIZATIONS !!!
I have stayed away from Tia and her family yo protect them all her
hubby is only 24 years old thank you ALL RESPONDING AND
