yeah, I saw that one first and made a video link to it on my post at the bottom. Amazing. Gave a link to it at Dreams too, on Marja black cat post. lol.
My Blackie looks very much like the big cat, Named him Blackie Jack aka Batman by the neighbor boy. :)

Didn't see your link at the bottom, Pamela; just remembered Anna's name and her work with the former "Diablo"... ;D
I had a kitty also who looked very much like him, way back in the early 80s, named Baby...she so looked like a miniature panther, way too muscular for a domestic...! She eventually took off, after a relocation; hoping she found better/more elsewhere... ;D
And how funny: Within the same timeframe ('83?), then-partner and I also had a kitty named Batman! ;D He had a total black mask encircling his eye area... ;D He'd been born with his back end/legs somehow paralyzed; no funds for a vet, but for the first year of his life, he managed incredibly well!...by literally dragging himself around w/his upper body, playing w/his littermates, even dealing w/the litterbox reasonably, at least to some extent...! Eventually his capacities for such things failed, and it was the first time Ever that I knew I had to let a vet send him On His Way.... Soooo hard, so sad...

Thanks! Aww, thanks for sharing your cat stories. I have a stripped tiger-champagne and white kitty too- Sunny, thats his brother.. I love my kitties. I just love to watch nature/animals/birds. That's why even tho cold here in winters, I am still here I guess. ITs where the boys were born... and could not imagine taking them away from the wide open country.
Besides I figure when times get really tuff, I have a place for my family to come to if they want- most of them are all in L.A. still.
I've made it a point to stay in the country for 17 years now, since I left S California. Born-raised in the San Diego country and beaches. Lived way too long in cities until I made the move, late 1998.
I was telling the Dreamers- my first dream recall at 8 years old, dreamed I was being followed by a black panther, and finally looked up that area where I used to live out of curiosity- and discovered there were actual real panthers living in that area a long time ago. It was old Native American land.
I have always been in tune with the animals and birds. So I understand it very well and rely on that inner knowledge- not too long ago dreamed there was a bear hiding in a tree here on the property... tho I know I do live in bear country, theres not been a single incident since I have been here 4 years.
Until the other day- my landlady called me up and told me - a brown bear was right there on her deck digging in the trash... (we live on the same property)I told her my dream and told her about my seeing him hiding in a tree... she then told me, hes been seen around the area and was in fact in a tree.

Just love all that, pamela... Have noted your posts over the years depicting what you describe below, your ongoing process w/living closer to the land and its beloved creatures, as well as the ones living with you... It's been a pleasure to follow, and thank you for sharing it w/us... ;->
I share your orientation although disabilites are now such that being out on the land as much as I'd like to be just isn't possible. Kitty I've had since birth 11 years ago, an amazing calico tortie named Sophie is, I swear, my very soul in feline form. ;)
