Agree, again, which is why I put the word "primitive" in quotes. Modern
society and religions are devoid of the reverence and caring in regards to
the natural world. They seek to control it for mans' use whereas the
indigenous peoples of the world see the magic and mystery of the natural
world. They know nature provides all that we need to survive and so we
must respect and cherish nature. Modern society seeks to just consume,
more and more. When you live in a concrete jungle and never see where
your food comes from, or view the stars in the sky, When one is so
removed from the natural world, then, I think, the gratitude, reverence
and mystery of the natural world is not part of one's life. A simple life,
living close to nature, with gratitude for all the earth provides--seeing the
wonder and magic in the world around us--ah, such heaven.

Not ever experience that reverence from birth to death as they spend
their entire lives in misery and poverty --the Many are slaves so the
few can live in luxury and NOTHING has changed for the better in
hundreds and hundreds of years -We have learned Nothing and
Seemingly become less compassionate in addition --How gut
wrenchingly sad !!!
