the bit about the "haint blue" ceiling is rather clever and I believe it really would be helpful

Liked the article, but seemed very typical of days gone by now. Maye the mama's just had so many kids they had to deal with intution in life to keep up with them all.

"I have beheld divination in my grandmother’s kitchen as she would foretell future events spelled out in the remnants of black tea or coffee grounds on the bottom of a common porcelain cup."

I’ll say, a mitigated form but nevertheless still serving in the Great Deed or Purpose, of Life, of which some, of the many, of the feminine force worked within [spiritual] energies not easily or widely understood, if even within themselves, yet nevertheless were imbued with the proverbial, 'knowing', and thereby its inculcate pursuit or quest.

The [great] Witch of Endor comes to mind; something of a different [positive] caliber.

Consider that there have been plenty through the ages, though untitled and unknown in the existent half-truth pages of history; 'speaking in tongues' (mediumship/seeress) was not so unfamiliar in the course of yesteryear.

Several notable [biblical] women, and more, nurtured and carried this gift, their important and crucial role is thus unknown within said pages.

That was pretty cool, thanks for posting that...

And yes, the "haint blue" is fairly prominent down South,
usually painted on ceiling of the covered porch, window
sills, trim of the house, etc... see every once in awhile
up here in rural central PA...
