Yeah, I hope I am on the good list and not the naughty
list........lol.

What is that saying.....Those who Believe don't need
convincing and those that don't, no measure of
persuasion will be enough? .....Something like
that....

But when they see the proof, it will be too late.

Lol..yes there are many viewpoints and that one is true for the person who
believes it. What you believe will be a self-fulfilling prophecy. As they say,
change your mind and you change your life. Nobody said spiritual growth

This is so.. people have imagination and they see what
they EXPECT TO SEE which is why those near death
experiences vary so much. Add to that.. is their guides
may cause them to see something that will help them
change.

I am not giving time to the video.. its 1/2 long and I
sense there is dishonesty in it.

First let me qualify my post by saying I am not watching the Muslim NDE.
I happen to believe that some people really do have NDE, and usually, as I have read many accounts of them, they truly come back changed. Changed for the better. Family and friends usually notice the differences in their personality changes. Often they drop addictions that had a stranglehold around their necks.
Short of that, I cannot imagine how a Muslim or non Muslim would experience a real NDE.
I have always heard the thing about their Nirvana as being lots and lots of virgins awaiting the men. hmmmm.
So, for them, hell would be?
Pig blood, eating pork?....
I know nothing seems to be more feared than being buried with a pig body, for a Muslim.

NDE would seem to be quite a personal and unique experience. For those who have no belief in life after death, I do wonder what an atheist would experience in a NDE?

There is a book, written in 1994 by Betty Eadie, I have it in my library, purchasing it in 1994. She was one of the first people to document her NDE in a car accident. For those who have never heard her story, you will find it quite fascinating, and a little too convincing, even for skeptics. She actually floated up out of her body, and floated backwards into very long line of cars that had stopped due to the accident. Many cars back, as she stopped at each one ( out of her body ), she heard every conversation of those stuck in the line behind her mangled car. Some were complaining to themselves about the sudden inconvience of the traffic jam. She stopped at one, and overheard a woman saying prayers outloud in her car, windows were rolled up. She stayed and listened to this woman saying benevolent prayers for "whomever" was hurt in the car accident that was many, many cars ahead of her own stopped car.
After Betty Eadie recovered from what was deemed death on the emergency room gurney, she returned to her body, and eventually recovered. She made it her mission to locate this woman who had been praying for her in a car, not knowing her name, but could easily recognize her face. Somehow, through police accounts, she located the woman some time later. She surprised her by a visit, and recounted to this woman all the exact things this woman was saying and thinking that afternoon at the car accident site. It was quite convincing and it strengthened this praying woman's convictions as to the afterlife, and NDE.

So, with that being said, ( read the book if you haven't ). Betty Eadie went on for years, lecturing about her personal experience, giving credence to those who were not certain about their own experiences, or those curious about the possibility of NDE being real.
I attended one lecture with Betty Eadie way back there in the mid-90's. Lovely woman. Fully convincing. That experience changed her, and changed the woman who had no idea Betty was "eavesdropping" in on her personal quiet prayer in her car that day.

As to Muslims.... no idea. Nirvana for them?....

Sometimes the higher self "walks in" during an NDE also..
and thus the huge change for the better. This is not
true in all cases but when there is a big change for the
better this is often the cause...

Yes, indeed. Those who are changed, especially to an extreme personality change, would be allowing the higher self. I think Byron Katie had such an experience. She did not have a NDE, but something clearly happened, and it might as well have been a real NDE. I would say that many people have been to the brink of death without a NDE, and still do not change. I don't believe God sends anyone back during a NDE. Freewill is freewill. They either come back, don't come back, change or do not change.
Walk-in's is a fascinating subject. I know Byron Katie has been one whom many suspect is a walk-in. A walk-in of higher self, perhaps. She says no.
If more people were not so afraid to speak about their experiences, then perhaps it would become a subject of norm, rather than "oddity".

Lynn, alright, do yourself a favor and watch the video :)
Everything you're wondering about ..was IN the video!--and it's GOOD!
For more NDE info I've linked the best website that addresses all these
questions and more. I've experienced 4 NDE's over the course of my life
and each time I changed, was given 'more gifts' of spirit and insight. It
changes your view of Life and Religion the most and death isn't scary now.
I'm glad they happened but the pain and dying parts 'hurt'!!!

"Nobody dies"-- and that is the best lesson I've taken from these
experiences. We are born into a body, we leave that body and we are still
US with your personality and thoughts but on a HUGE expanded level of
awareness. That awareness carries through when you come back from
death and it's hard to 'carry on' with daily life like you used to and do
mundane stuff as 'if' it were still important! TIME is useless to me and I
really hate the concept..years, days and weeks all blend together. On the
Other Side there is no time, it's all NOW. This is not the real life, the other
side is the REAL LIFE!

astral realms of earth.

Life being In the spirit does not mean its not real here.

Yes, it's the "getting there" that's the problem. The death appears to be delightful according to all NDE's. Glad you got to come back, however 4 NDE's...
Guess you are not meant to go home, just yet!
That we still get to be us, be around our loved ones, hopefully be very helpful even from the veil of the other side,.... way cool.

Rig, that's an easy line you spat out..one of YOUR standard lines. However,
these were THEIR experiences and YOU weren't privy to them. There are
NDE's from all nationalities and religions that 'line up' exactly like this
whether that person ever heard of Jesus or not..they SEE JESUS!
I've experienced these near death experiences--4 of them---also.

What's YOUR proof of the contrary??? zero.

And none of you in this thread really seem to grasp
what the NDE and heaven are. And the nature of the
Higher self and where it lives...

I cannot wait sometimes until we get to be fully public
on this stuff.

This huge confusion is behind so much of the dislike
for others on this world. When TRUTH is accepted this
arguing will STOP.

leaving thread now. These places are NOT different..
what is different is the level of mind accessed in the
NDE and in meditation The Ego mind cannot be used for
the communications . It has to be in the spiritual
mind.

Thanks for sharing that, Jody.

I've read a number of these online - and it shows how much God genuinely CARES about EVERYONE. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Nobody is goofy to God. Nobody is too far gone. He is not "against" anyone. He wants to forgive and heal. He genuinely WANTS to share the truth, offer his forgiveness to ANYONE. NOBODY gets the cold shoulder. Even if he has to appear to them in a dream or vision.

That's so much of what I love most about God.

Reminds me of one of my favorite songs up above.

Thanks Cinnamon for your post and song--very nice :)

Oh you have no idea of GOD until you feel His presence. You cannot
understand LOVE until you meet GOD and realize HE IS LOVE.
GOD doesn't 'just care' about us...He made us and His love is endless.
God is LOVE, LIGHT and KNOWLEDGE and everything you understood
before you meet Him is so piddly small and limited in comparison.

The LIGHT was all I saw coming toward me slowly then went THROUGH ME!
At that moment I knew this was GOD and He is LOVE LIGHT &
KNOWLEDGE. All was known to Him about me and I knew who He was.
I was LOVED by GOD and we all are! There is no greater Love.

The final thing God showed me before I was sent back to my body was the
Era we are now in with ISIS killing people because of their 'religion'.
GOD was so incredibly saddened that HIS children are using His name to
kill each other and lay waste to the Earth. We watched the Earth in ruins of
bloody wars that made no sense. After that I said I wasn't leaving but He
said He was sending me back because 'I wasn't finished yet'...

Remember: "Give LOVE to every one you meet".
Blessings, Jody

Subject: Re: Muslim Near-death experiences

A line I spat out... not so much...

It's right there, it's standard Christian themed NDE,
the fact that it's a Muslim isn't significant at all,
it simply shows how pervasive the Christian myth is...
never mind that it's had 2000 or so years to spread
all over the planet, not to mention he's a Muslim,
both Christianity and Islam were born out of the
Middle East... and not mention Islam spends so much of
it's identity as opposition to Christianity, while at
the same time counts Jesus as one of it's teachers yet
not the top dog the Muhammad is, within their
religion... not to mention, not to mention, not to
mention...

So this isn't some religion (or Spiritual) shattering
miracle that some Muslims have NDE's with Jesus... it
just isn't... it's to be expected... now, if you dig
up some aboriginal Joe from some place that has had
absolutely no contact with Christian missionaries
whatsoever... who has a Jesus themed NDE, great, I
might listen... doubtful, but I might, even if it's
for entertainment value...

So you've had 4 of "these" NDE's... I'm guessing that
means yours were Christian/Jesus flavored?... if so I
guess that's great?... but it's a prime example of
what's to be expected in a culture where Christianity
is the Big Deal... now mine on the other hand wasn't,
it didn't have the standard stereotypical vision of
Demons or Hell, no tunnel, no white light, no Jesus...
thankfully ;)... no, mine was rather different, a
forest clearing/grove at night, the occasional twinkle
of stars through the canopy of trees, and a trail
leading into the woods... and this was before I forged
down a Pagan "Earth based" Spiritual path... so there
ya go, there's your "proof"... ;)

Rig,

I read your words and know nothing touches you. It can't get through
your dogmatic rhetoric. It would take a NDE for you to understand it.

Jesus isn't 'just another person...'
He's the most powerful Soul ever created by GOD.

So why would anyone experience seeing a lesser Soul upon their death???
That's why you misunderstand this subject. You really don't know.

You say you read my words... apparently you missed my
description of my NDE... I understand just fine, it
appears to be you that doesn't understand... and then
tries to play the "superior" card while running away
from the discussion...

As for this "Jesus" character, I think he potentially
existed, probably had some interesting and rebellious
perspectives on the culture he lived in (same old
culture in the here and now)... and yet, seems to have
been used by his followers post his death, and turned
into a supernatural entity taking advantage of
regional "prophecies" to create a new cult that would
flourish into a new religion with the hope it would be
powerful enough to destroy the status quo of the
time... when he was just a man fed up with the
bullshit oppression he witnessed day in day out...

This is what you don't understand... you're following
a man that was turned into an avatar of a mad desert
God without much in the way of regard to the man or
the God, just creating a new control system to run
over their fellow human beings...

Further, that mad desert God is just one of many Gods
found across Mother Earth and Beyond... so it makes
perfect sense to See any number of Gods, or "souls",
or whatever you're selling...

Hail and Skal, RIG... ;)

On the morning of the Ides of March, Julius Caesar told his wife of a dream he had that night. He spoke of flying through the sky and meeting Jupiter, King of the Gods, and shaking his hand. I guess he received a message of what would transpire that day. Maybe he did meet Jupiter after his assassination. It would be just as valid as meeting Krishna or Jesus.
