What interesting experiences I've had, living with this question you first asked me some time ago, feeling out ways to translate my context of spiritual experience into a flow of words that you, within the context of your own, might connect with in understanding. I don't quite have it to go back and find your original post's exact wording but, if I'm remembering correctly (feel free to chime in if not), what you originally asked was, how (or “Why?”) my belief that every human being was worthy of unconditional love, compassion and forgiveness could possibly include those we'd characterize as the "worst of humanity" – serial killers, rapists, psycho-/sociopaths, child abusers, etc. Yes? I'm glad you asked again. So many different angles of answer had been gestating. Verbal composition skills I once had are...not what they were, for reasons I've shared. Neither apparently is a particular intuitional reflex in my psyche that used to be nearly hairtrigger in nature, to instantly recognize when I was about to embroil myself in an intellectual exchange about spiritual or more right-brain realities that could never, simply by virtue of their being apples-and-oranges in context, be fully translatable in any way that hoped to honor and convey their actual power, essence and scope of truth, their crucial role within our human/spiritual experience. That reflex used to see these contextual impasses miles away, saved me an inordinate amount of time and energy...! lol But your asking “Why?” again, here in the context of my offering this prayer, has finally brought that reflex smartly around again for me. Whew! lol RIG, from birth I have always experienced *all human beings,* -- regardless of who they are, what they've done, in ways society terms positive and negative, both -– as absolutely sacred and precious, as literal expressions of our Creator, whom I've always framed as Infinite, Unconditional Love and Compassion... Those beings whom we witness acting out rage and terror in violent ways (and I mean, violence on all levels, which is a vast scope!), I have always understood as being *profoundly, deeply emotionally & spiritually ill* rather than being “evil” by nature. I simply do not believe there is any such thing. I see them as simply having become lost by their own human-/egoic-/fear-based actions and choices, while incarnate, experientially distanced and alienated from their true nature as living expressions of Love. Do those capable of wielding violence against their fellow beings also need to be kept from harming others? Of course! And within a conscious, compassionate, wise society which will be cocreated in our future, they will be! But do they need to be demonized in the process? My heart, my truth, says no... And I mean...okay, if pressed, I can also say this understanding sources from this-life memory of the between-life life-review process, in which we are literally taught the power of compassionate understanding that *literally unlocks true insight* into the root of all human behavior we call “evil” in nature... So that helped as I got older. But as a child, all's I knew empathically was that every human being whose energies came upon my personal radar was, almost literally, writhing in pain and in fear under the surface, whether they were aware of it or not and regardless of how they acted outwardly; feeling invisible in the ways they most needed to be seen and known; feeling exposed and impossibly vulnerable in ways they felt visible. And that comprised pretty much everyone, on one level or another; I had some pretty dicey characters in my world from the get-go, as well as angels... Feeling everyone's pain so intensely was, of course, something I needed to come into healthy psychoemotional terms with on many levels, as all empaths must, and that's my whole life story, pretty much. However! Whatever perfect boundaries remain for me to gain, for best healthy balance, I have no desire whatsoever for, nor any intention of, losing or shifting or re-contextualizing or reframing this crystal-clear awareness that every human being incarnate upon/within Gaia, indeed EVERY form of life here upon ALL levels, stands in great need of the simple, sacred service of others *wishing them very well in truly open-hearted, loving, nonjudgemental ways*... I've been witness to its power, singularly and cocreatively... Most of what I've been able to offer in more-physical service skills, throughout my life, I can no longer do. Much of what I used to be able to offer in writing, in spiritual/astrological counseling has passed me as well. I will, however, ALWAYS be able to set my highest spiritual heart in its dance with my human one aflame with genuine, unconditionally loving, compassionate prayer and/or positive thoughts for everyone I know, on this forum and in my life; for all beings and life forms I can name and for all I cannot...and surrender all my human resistance toward total understanding of the gifts I am given, simply by being alive and incarnate... So I dunno if this answers your question, really, RIG...but it's all I've got to say, casually as well as ultimately, when all is said and done. Right-brain-sourced realities and truths of experience *will never, EVER* be able to be “substantiated,” or “validated,” or “given credibility” by anything coming from a left-brain context of reality........and the fact that it canNOT be done does not, on any level nor in any way, reflect or imply any “lesser” status in its nature, and its truth... And while I know ya don' much like quotes from others being leaned upon for voicing our own spiritual truth...lol...nobody expresses the deep sense of awe, of wonder, of gratitude I feel toward my fellow human beings than this one by Rumi: "If I really see you, I will laugh out loud, or fall silent, or explode into a thousand pieces. That was literally awesome... I don't agree with some of your inner workings (between life review new agey stuff), but I don't need to to relate to the overall statement of being... Some finer details that deserve comment... Evil not existing/folk are actually emotionally-spiritually ill... ultimately I think that's a tomato tahmahto thing... I personally would think someone who has embraced their emotional/spiritual illness would in essence be Evil... but, shrugs, whatever... as an Empath, I completely understand what your saying, although have a differing approach to life the uni(multi)verse and everything... Although I like the line from Babylon 5 and I believe borrowed from Eastern spiritual philosophies, that runs parallel to your views on all us poor fools incarnated in the here and now... "we are all the universe made manifest in an effort to understand itself"... at least that's close to what I remember... ;) Now having said that... I don't need to Love everyone, some don't deserve it no matter their level emotional/spiritual illness... and those that embrace it, put themselves in opposition to Light... and Love... and those deserve a Hammer upside their spiritual skulls...
