Spring my favorite time of year- erm, when it gets here in the high Rockies that is. We had several days of warmer snow melting - into mud splats. The whole country is covered in mud including everyones cars and mail boxes. But we had more snow/hail last night and rain. Which is good for the land. Not good for my disposition tho. Tho its been sunny much of those days. It really does not get spring here til I hear the first Meadow Lark. Have had the little Finches. The little birds. And the Kats been going wild crazy over them. Supposed to get more snow tonight. Happy Ostara/happy spring. Spring is here, spring is come, the bird is on the wing, my my how absurd, I thought the wing was on the bird... my late mothers quote she liked to say. |
