But let me get your perspective right here... so, a martial
art is or can be Spiritual if it's not involved with
physical fighting, but as soon as those skills are put to
use in an actual physical confrontation, it's no longer
Spiritual?...

Did ya notice those ladies behind the counter ducking for safety? those did not look like lightweight play swords. what if she had butter fingers and one of those ladies got hurt, would it still be considered spiritual?
I dunna. I went almost completely blind back in 2007. I wondered and still do if in another previous life I had blinded someone. Even more, if that was true, was it intentional or just part of war. I dunna. I would have never regained my eyesight if not for an operation and the means to pay for it were provided by a special program if I had not become aware of, I would be still blind today and not even here talking with you.
I was blind long enough I had to be driven to and from work, and could not see my own self in the mirror or others faces, just shadows.
It was very scary. I learned the tragedy of not being able to see. To read. I could not even ride my bike then cuz I could not see. I continued to work and could only read in one eye barely with a magnifying glass to fill out reports and read work related stuff.
Even on the computer, I had a special big screen given me and made the font super huge to be able to continue at least to post, seeing out of that one eye partially.
If a just war is warranted or that for self preservation or maybe fighting to save the life of another- still spiritual? maybe. But the universe has laws. Take a life, your life will be taken.

funny... ;)
Butterfingers and would it still be considered spiritual?...
why wouldn't it?...
The universe has laws... your life will be taken anyway one
way or another...

It's all spiritual, yes.
One way or another-
taken by karma/justice/debt/balance
or just passing to another life to live
I suppose.
