Wasn't looking at the people... it was the mountain backdrop, and the simple magical look of the town. I've been there many times, and it has a special energy,.. And, yes your photo is supremely peaceful. Olympic Rain Forest... always an amazing place, nature is the great artist, no voice, no screaming, no look-at-me.... just is, simply present. |

I miss my trees... Pennsylvania is heavily wooded, and beautiful in it's own right... but it's just not the same, you get into the old growth, and even second growth, trees so tall you can't see the tops, forests so deep they swallow up sound itself... hmmm... |
