June 17, 2024: Venus-Mercury On June 17 at 12:43 GMT (08:43 a.m. EDT), Venus (mag -4.4) will pass 0°53' of Mercury (mag -1.9) in the constellation Taurus, near the border with Gemini. Although both planets are normally visible to the naked eye, this time they'll be too close to the Sun.
