Yeah, there are lots of photos on our nextdoor
neighborhood feed. I'm not the only one who saw the
lights here in the southern sierras. First time I can
recall them getting this far south (and first time I've
ever seen them).

Thanks pamela, I do look there for solar wind speed sometimes there is a graph there also under "more data": DSCOVER.
This is as high as I remember seeing the solar wind speed, seen it in the lower 600 km/sec but not 700+ though I have seen
a movie of it in the past on pixiespasci many years ago but it's not a link that is available anymore.

I saw a tweet where someone saw the aurora earlier in the Florida Keys it was purplish (really pretty):

Here is a link to visual of the X 5.8 it's solarham channel on YT:

from sunspot number 3664. Solarham has it as an X 5.8 class and spaceweather has it as an X 5 class solar flare.

Yeah another one. Goes bang bang bang!
Trying to follow the situation between cooking and other housework chores.
I am over the top. Very much all over the place wth high charged flares. It's like a booster and filling up my energies. Getting the kind of adrenalin push as when feeling an earthquake. Lovin" it! Yeehaw!!!
