Kp (photon) index at 7 at the time of this post. The solar wind will push the northern lights further
south during these type of storms. (see link https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/ for graphs)

From spacewather.com:

Solar wind
speed: 597.5 km/sec
density: 17.43 protons/cm3

ANOTHER CME IS COMING: As predicted, a CME struck Earth's magnetic field on Feb. 26th (1925 UTC), sparking
a G2-class geomagnetic storm. Another CME is following close behind. A second impact in as many days could
intensify the ongoing storms to category G3 (Strong) on Feb. 27-28.

Yes, we've been in a geomagnetic storm for 30 hrs.
Evidence the red aurora's being seen and increased
stress on Earth and people/animals and increases
earthquakes/volcs/weather.

After the impact of a #solarstorm shockwave, the Earth is now inside field fluctuations with sustained southward pointing magnetic
fields. Dst index is now ~-100 nT, so on the border of an intense geomagnetic storm, and the #aurora energy input is 4x the average!
