Earth in constellation Gemini...Sun, Mercury, Pluto, Venus in constellation Sagittarius. Saturn in constellation Capricorn. Mars in constellation Taurus.
Uranus and Earth's Moon in constellation Aries. Jupiter in constellation Pisces. Neptune in constellation Aquarius

Conjunction of Venus and Pluto
SUN, 01 JAN 2023 AT 10:15 EST (15:15 UTC)
-Dominic Ford, Editor
From the Conjunctions feed

Venus and 134340 Pluto will share the same right ascension, with Venus passing 0°52' to the north of 134340 Pluto.

From Tampa, the pair will become visible around 18:00 (EST), 10° above your south-western horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. They will then sink towards the
horizon, setting 1 hour and 12 minutes after the Sun at 18:57.

Venus will be at mag -3.9, and 134340 Pluto at mag 15.1, both in the constellation Sagittarius.

The pair will be a little too widely separated to fit comfortably within the field of view of a telescope, but will be visible through a pair of binoculars.

A graph of the angular separation between Venus and 134340 Pluto around the time of closest approach is available here.

The positions of the two objects at the moment of conjunction will be as follows:

Object Right Ascension Declination Constellation Magnitude Angular Size
Venus 20h00m50s -21°57' Sagittarius -3.9 10"3
134340 Pluto 20h00m50s -22°49' Sagittarius 15.1 0"0

The coordinates above are given in J2000.0. The pair will be at an angular separation of 17° from the Sun, which is in Sagittarius at this time of year.

hi sheila!❣️! so nice to see your encouraging post sending a smile my way...may you heal soon... now I know where the intense wakies and mini warm flashes vibe was coming from for a few days, then the drain today made up for it
and slept late.

Okay, I will post on solar as I come across the info. I sense if this one that was is on the backside comes round strong I must prepare brace myself. I almost posted on groans felt sun spot vibes on Sat. and Sunday and kept
watching the info wondering about it and nothing was happening...at least on the front side. If you don't feel like it or can't respond is okay it's nice to know you are following the solar with me.

Oh! one more thing Mercury is at solar conjunction on the 7th. That may be a further influence...maybe already is. Tomorrow the 4th is at perihelion for Earth when it is closest to the Sun in it's annual orbit.

much love + well wishes!
truly,
~🌸~Eve

Excerpt:

Mercury will pass very close to the Sun in the sky as its orbit carries it between the Sun and Earth.

This occurs once in every synodic cycle of the planet (116 days), and marks the end of Mercury's apparition in the evening sky and its transition to become a morning object over the next few weeks.

At closest approach, Mercury will appear at a separation of only 2°47' from the Sun, making it totally unobservable for several weeks while it is lost in the Sun's glare.

Mercury will also pass perigee – the time when it is closest to the Earth – at around the same time, since it will lie on exactly the same side of the Sun as the Earth in the Solar System. It will move to within a distance of
0.67 AU from the Earth, making it appear with its largest angular size. If it could be observed, it would measure 10.0 arcsec in diameter, whilst appearing completely unilluminated

Earth at Perihelion is observed two weeks after the December Solstice, which falls on January 3 or 4 every year — January 4 this year. On this day, the Earth is at the point in its orbit where it is closest to the Sun.
