Sun, Venus, Mercury in constellation Virgo Earth, Jupiter in constellation Pisces
------------------------------------------------------ Venus at superior solar conjunction
This event is not observable at present from Tampa. Never attempt to point a pair of binoculars or a telescope at an object close to the Sun SAT, 22 OCT 2022 AT 17:49 EDT (21:49 UTC)
Venus will pass very close to the Sun in the sky as its orbit carries it around the far side of the solar system from the Earth.
This occurs once in every synodic cycle of the planet (584 days), and marks the end of Venus's apparition in the morning sky and its transition to become an evening object over the next few weeks.
At closest approach, Venus will appear at a separation of only 1°03' from the Sun, making it totally unobservable for several weeks while it is lost in the Sun's glare.
Venus will also pass apogee – the time when it is most distant from the Earth – at around the same time, since it will lie exactly opposite to the Earth in the Solar System. It will move to a distance of 1.72 AU from the Earth, making it appear small and very distant. If it could be observed, it would measure 9.7 arcsec in diameter, whilst appearing completely illuminated.
The exact position of Venus at the moment it passes solar conjunction will be:

Chart Caption – 2022, October 22: In this view north of the solar system, Venus is on the far side of the sun and along the noon line, indicating it is in the same direction as the sun.
Venus’ morning appearance ends today with its superior conjunction on the far side of the sun. The planet is nearly 160 million miles away. Venus is not directly behind the sun because its orbit is slightly tilted compared to the Earth-sun plane, known as the ecliptic. At 4:17 p.m. CDT, the planet is about 1.1° above the central star.
Venus begins a slow entry into the evening sky. By November 28th, it sets at Civil Twilight, setting only 30 minutes after sundown. For enthusiastic sky watchers, the planet can be seen around mid-November above the western horizon during bright evening twilight.

Venus transitions in constellation Virgo to Evening Star
Excerpt:
Venus begins a slow entry into the western evening sky after its superior conjunction on October 22, 2022, that carries it through August 13, 2023, when it passes through inferior conjunction and into the morning sky.
The apparition is very favorable, with setting time intervals nearly reaching three hours, forty-five minutes. Conjunctions occur with bright stars near the ecliptic, including Aldebaran and Pollux, along with a quasi-conjunction with Regulus.
