Hi all,
recently most seismograms in Switzerland show relatively high activity, somewhat above what may be considered routine quiet level, based on about two decades of occasional observations.

This means that seismic background vibrations are currently higher than normal for Switzerland which in turn is a bit like saying that a m5+ in or near the area is becoming more likely. Central Switzerland appears to be high on the prospective epicenter list but there are at least half a dozen other potential m5+ places in Switzerland and neighboring landscapes.
