Does anyone have a link for today's 7.5 P-wave info?
Thanks. And Happy New Year! Stay safe!

URL: http://www.earthquakesummary.info

Most of the internet scrubbed it, but if you check
Lowell Whitesides earthquakesummary site he posts the
far field info, which is almost same as the p wave
stuff. Though hes usually some days behind in posting
it, better to save his link and check it out.

Hi Pamela and all,

A few weeks ago I made a major effort to contact Dr. Whiteside. It was not successful.

It appears to me that he DOESN'T want to be contacted about his earthquake forecasting Web site.

Try to find an active E-mail address for him.

Good luck. Let me know if you do.

I had to use an indirect E-mail address to try to contact him. My E-mail apparently went to a living person (not Dr. Whiteside). But, there was never any response.

This is not unusual for people who say they are attempting to forecast earthquakes. I have talked with quite a few over they years. One of their shared traits appears to me to be that they are generally EXTREMELY reclusive.

His forecasting information doesn't presently appear to me to be of too much value. However, his evaluations of earthquakes that have just occurred do look valuable.

Why would anyone make an effort to develop an earthquake forecasting program and then make it impossible for anyone to contact him or her regarding the program?

In contrast, anyone can find my own earthquake forecasting Web site and contact me with the E-mail address at the bottom of any Web page.

If you have been reading my posts you will remember that I have repeatedly tried to get Shan to get better organized with his forecasting method.

Again as usual, no success with that.

These are personal opinions.

Yet you obfuscate finding your webpage as well.

For example, http://earthboppin.net/talkshop/rollem/messages/23005.html

"For my Web site address, use any Internet search engine and
type in:

earthquake research index.html data.html

My forecast Web site should be at or near the top of the returned
list. Then you can go to the Data.html Web page."

Why not just state your website address directly?

https://www.earthquake-research.com

See? That's not hard. And it'll be even easier for people to find
your website and get in touch with you.

And I could also get into you hiding your identity as well. Seems
hypocritical of you to complain about it being so hard to get in
touch with other researchers, about them being reclusive, when you
do the very same.

Brian
