South America for a 6 pointer or larger if in water.

I realize 5.9 is very close to 6, but want to make you aware
that due to the logarithmic nature of magnitude scales, even
a 0.1 change is a significant difference in seismic energy.

A 6.0 is about 41% bigger than a 5.9.

A full magnitude difference, for example from a 5.0 to a 6.0,
is nearly 32 times bigger.

This is why some of us balk at the idea of calling a hit on
'close enough'.

My brother Jack has told me the
same. As usual I'm a bit late.
Earthquake forcast for Southern
most Mexico to South America.
Starting on the 24th of September
thru the 10th of October.
