EARTHQUAKE WARNING
At the present time my earthquake forecasting data are indicating to me that a powerful and potentially destructive earthquake could be on the way.
My forecasting Web site should be updated with the latest data by tomorrow, July 7, 2023.
It takes part of an hour to do each update as my Internet connection can be so slow and some of these files are quite large. An effort is underway to reduce that one hour update time.
Line peaks on my forecasting charts indicate to me that fairly strong EM Signals have been pointing to the approach of this expected earthquake going back to February of 2023.
POSSIBLE LOCATIONS
Based on the start of that time period and other data, I am recommending that people keep watch for possible Turkey area earthquake aftershocks.
There is some ongoing volcano type activity in Iceland that cannot presently be ruled out as a major source of these signals. The latest report I saw indicated that the dormant volcano involved could erupt at any time.
The strongest chart line peaks are at around 170 E. More recent line peaks are at around 115 W.
POSSIBLE TIME WINDOW
Based on sun and moon location data and my latest Time Window theory, this expected earthquake could occur by July 21, 2023. The sun and moon will be at about the same longitude in the sky on July 18, 2023. So, that would be a time of maximum tidal forces.
POSSIBLE MAGNITUDE
Because the signals that I work with are related to the depth of the earthquake I don't generate magnitude information.
Instead I usually propose that the earthquake could have a relatively low magnitude such as 5 and be near the surface. Or, it could have a much higher magnitude such as 8 and occur deep in the Earth's crust.
In any case, if this expected earthquake is shallow and near a populated area it will likely cause some damage.
These are personal opinions.

It is my guess that this expected earthquake has not yet occurred. It will take me another day or so to update my Earthquake Forecasting charts and see if they can provide more information regarding this.
Again, I am talking with research personnel around the world. But what they want to discuss, I talked about in detail with other researchers such as Roger years and even decades ago. It is frustrating to have to go over the same material with new researchers again and again and again.
Exaggerating a bit, getting earthquake forecasting technologies developed (along with most other things such as renewable energy and climate change) is 99.999% politics and only 0.001% science.
If progress is going to be made, the politics have to be dealt with first because it is the politics that are actually what are keeping things from moving forward.
These are personnel opinions.

Subject: Computer Program Update - July 6, 2023 |
|

Posted by EQF on July 6, 2023
In earlier notes I stated that I am getting ready to get and effort started to have other computer programmers help convert my Earthquake Forecasting computer program from an ancient version of Perl to a more modern computer language.
The effort will involve encouraging the other programmers to get one or more colleges or universities behind this effort. Attempts will also be made to get funding for the project from private, non-governmental, or governmental organizations.
Some of the more complex work will be converting equations that contain sine, cosine, and tangent etc. type calculations to the new language. Those types of calculations can work differently from one computer language to another.
When my program was first created, it was a nightmare to try to convert Roger's TrueBasic sine etc. equations to Perl. There were divide by 0 errors etc. occurring all the time.
The conversion is already underway with regard to my own efforts. With luck, the effort to get other programmers involved will begin on July 7, 2023
It is expected that the conversion effort would take at least several months.
It should be possible to add an almost unlimited number of refinements to the program as it is (presently) so versatile.
It can be used to generate all types of data including a variety of tables, charts, and maps.
These are personal opinions.

There is so much taking place at the moment that it is difficult to even keep these posts updated.
EARTHQUAKE WARNING
This will remain fully active until July 21, 2023 or so or until the expected earthquake occurs.
My charts are done. But I still have not had time to upload them to my forecasting Web site.
I am trying to get some waning notes off to various governments.
Researchers are still highly concerned that a volcano might be about to erupt in Iceland. I don't think that my EM Signals detected since last February are related to a volcano. But I can't say that for certain.
EARTHQUAKES AND COSMIC RAYS
The people doing this research are quite active. I am finding it difficult to keep up with their E-mails.
EARTHQUAKE FORECASTING COMPUTER PROGRAM
The effort to get a computer group to translate my Perl language Earthquake Forecasting program is still underway. It is taking more time than expected because I am attempting to first update my Web page that discusses the subject matter in detail.
Web page work always takes a lot of time.
If successful, this program translation effort should have a significant impact on the future of the entire human race. It will hopefully for the first time enable governments around the world to understand why powerful earthquakes occur at the exact times that they occur.
Once they understand that then it would be an easy step forward for them to start predicting earthquakes. And that would then help reduce the financial and social impacts that these catastrophic natural disasters have on all of us regardless of whether or not the earthquakes occur near where we live and work.
These are personal opinions.
