At least three powerful and reportedly highly destructive earthquakes have occurred in Turkey - Syria areas. The following are a few earthquake details.
2023/02/06 10:24:49 38.02N 37.20E 10 7.5 "4 km SSE of Ekinözü, Turkey"
2023/02/06 01:28:15 37.13N 36.94E 14 6.7 "Turkey"
2023/02/06 01:17:35 37.17N 37.03E 18 7.8 "26 km E of Nurda??, Turkey"
NEIS Data
I have been expecting something significant for weeks and recently updated my earthquake forecasting Web site with new information. I had been planning to post a formal Earthquake Warning to this forum.
Additionally, I just added several new types of information to some of my forecast charts. That took a lot of time and effort. There is still more work to do with that effort. Those data need to be added to additional forecast charts.
Those new types of information are:
--- The Sun - Earth - Moon angle at the time of an earthquake
--- The strength of the Tide Generating Force at its maximum strength location on the surface of the Earth at the time of the earthquake
Those are important types of data for earthquake forecasters and researchers.
Roger who used to post notes here helped develop the computer software needed to generate those types of data. It took the two of us something like 6 months of effort just to get the basic sun and moon location formulas finalized.

Work is just getting started on running the earthquake data through my computer programs. Updates will be posted here and on my forecasting Data.html Web page when that work is done.
There have been quite a few powerful aftershocks to those Turkey - Syria area earthquakes. Thousands of fatalities have been reported.
These are personal opinions.

Something that I believe that I learned from talking for many years with people who are strongly Earthquake Sensitive is that simply thinking about earthquakes seems to cause the symptoms to get stronger.
Also, living near a fault zone doesn't help.
One person that I talked with actually moved away from the U.S. West Coast because approaching earthquakes were constantly causing him to feel depressed.
Something else that I believe that I learned is that Earthquake Sensitivity gives the appearance of being contagious. To some extent it likely is.
If a husband or wife is strongly Earthquake Sensitive, his or her spouse might eventually develop symptoms.
His or her pet cat or dog might also start to develop symptoms. My personal guess would be that the pet cat or dog is simply reacting to its owner's symptoms.
These are personal opinions.

Those 3 Turkey and Syria earthquakes have now been run through my computer programs.
The earthquake data and my EM Signal data indicate to me that one or more very clear, strong EM warning signals for either one or both of the following earthquakes were detected on January 23, 2023.
2023/02/06 01:28:15 37.13N 36.94E 14 6.7 "Turkey"
2023/02/06 01:17:35 37.17N 37.03E 18 7.8 "26 km E of Nurda??, Turkey"
A very clear EM warning signal was detected for the following earthquake on February 4, 2023.
2023/02/06 10:24:49 38.02N 37.20E 10 7.5 "4 km SSE of Ekinözü, Turkey"
Those two groups of earthquakes had different latitudes and different earthquake EM Signal profiles.
Those data should be available on my Earthquake Forecasting Web site in a day or two.
I am planning to try to send some information regarding all of this to certain world governments and recommend that they monitor the EM Signal data on my Web site for possible aftershock warning information.
My forecasting method can work quite well with aftershock forecasts. We already know WHERE powerful aftershocks are likely to occur and just need to determine WHEN they are about to occur.

After spending an incredible amount of time and energy on the effort, I have finally finished updating my earthquake forecasting computer program with the ability to add sun - Earth - moon angle and Tide Generating Force data.
The computer program involves more than 13,000 lines of complex Perl code. It has had so many updates over the years that it is difficult to even find the right section to modify.
Now I can start generating data again and try to get in contact with other disaster management personnel regarding the situation in the Turkey - Syria area.
The latest fatality numbers that I have seen indicate that those recent earthquakes may have claimed more than 40,000 lives. It sounds like it could go a lot higher.
Now that the computer program work is largely done, perhaps it will be possible to at least alert the necessary parties should a powerful aftershock be approaching.
My main United Nations contact has retired. So I unfortunately no longer have any good direct contacts with those people.
