Subject: Ferndale: message from Jack Coles

Jack called to say that the Ferndale quake satisfies
his 18 month tracking of a large quake in Nor Cal.

He said that he believes a pattern is developing that
mimics that of the Landers quake of 1992 which was
preceded by a quake in Ferndale. Similar numbers and
dynamics are at play currently.

Therefore, he believes a magnitude 8 is coming for that
area: Landers, Big Bear or Imperial Valley likely
around the new moon on Dec. 23.

He has not yet received the final main signal for it,
however.

As I stated in another note, my own data indicate to me that there were signals that were pointing to that recent CA quake for a year or more.

It is important to hear that other earthquake researchers came to that same conclusion. Most forecast data go back only a few weeks or months in time.

On reason for that importance is the possibility that the widely discussed "Big One" could someday be headed for the U.S. West Coast.

If that proposed earthquake is ever going to occur, my own data indicate to me that it should be generating strong warning signals for perhaps a year or more in advance.

These are personal opinions.

Regards to all,

EQF
