all the small quakes we've had there should be a 7.1 or
higher the 23rd. Or very soon after southern
California.

Hi Cory,
Do you know how Jack determines tide locations?
My own earthquake forecasting computer program developed over a long time with some valuable help from Roger can do that.
The program says that the time of maximum gravity strain (tides are related) should have been at:
1000 UTC on December 23, 2022
If my conversion is correct, that would be about 2 AM on December 23, 2022 for U.S. West Coast locations.
