Subject: Earthquake Warning - May 10, 2022

Posted by EQF on May 10, 2022 My data are indicating to me that a major earthquake could be approaching. MAGNITUDE - It would most likely be shallow and powerful. If it occurs near a city it could be quite destructive. LOCATION - The strongest line peak on my forecasting data charts are around 65 W longitude. So, South and Central America areas could be high probability locations. However, my longitude data need to be carefully interpreted using the forecasting procedures discussed on my forecasting Web site. I haven't yet tried to evaluate the location data. TIME WINDOW - My latest theory proposes that based on the positions of the sun and the moon in the sky, this expected earthquake could occur before May 18, 2022. The sun and moon will be on opposite sides of the Earth around May 16. The next most likely time window after that would close about 2 weeks later when the sun and moon are on the same side of the Earth. (Thanks Roger for help long ago with creating the sun and moon location program my forecasting program uses.) My data indicate to me that warning signs for this expected earthquake began appearing strongly in late February of 2022. My forecasting Web site is in the process of being updated. That should be done within 6 hours of this posting. I work on various disaster managements projects and have not done any forecasting work or updated my forecasting Web page for a while. The data presently there are not current. If you have developed or are watching other global forecasting method data then I would expect that that or those methods are presently showing that a powerful earthquake could be approaching. Shan who used to post notes here reported that he is expecting some significant earthquake activity before May 22, 2022. He is watching the Andaman Islands, Southern Xinjiang, and Haryana - Delhi areas. These are personal opinions. EQF |

| my son said we had a little jiggle earlier today, something in his hanging shelf just shook by itself and fell.....and we do get shocks when there are some off the oregon coast at times. |

Posted by EQF on May 21, 2022 Hi Kay, The earthquake activity I have been expecting seems to have now occurred. No high intensity EM Signals have been detected in the past day or two. That situation can change in just a day. I am surprised that there don't appear to be any EM Signals in my records pointing to the approach of the following earthquake. 2022/05/19 10:13:31 54.14S 159.08E 10 6.9 "Macquarie Island region" NEIS Data It was both fairly powerful and shallow and probably should have generated at least a few signals. Another possibility is that instead of being triggered by the combinations of the sun and moon gravity forces that my earthquake forecasting computer relies on, other forces caused it to occur when it did. So, it would then not match any of my signals that are time dependent. They could be things such as: --- Abrupt strain transfer from another fault zone where an earthquake recently occurred. --- Forces related to solar storm activity. --- The fault zone was just ready to fracture and did not need any outside force to trigger the earthquake. FRIGHTENING EARTHQUAKE STORY Powerful earthquakes don't usually occur anywhere near where I live. Very low intensity ones are felt now and then. One person posting on another earthquake board described what is was like to be in a wooden frame house when a powerful earthquake occurred. The wooden beams used in the frames of wooden houses might be joined together with only regular nails. It sounds like that was the case for this person. If I remember correctly, the earthquake occurred during the night. He was awakened by it and heard the frightening sounds of nails being yanked out of the boards as the house rocked back and forth and the wooden beams began to separate from one another. Fortunately, he survived. He did not way how much damage the house suffered. There are special metal reinforcement devices that can be added to older houses to reduce the chances that the boards in the wooden frame will separate during an earthquake. Adding them to an older house is probably fairly expensive as it might require that parts of different room walls be removed so that the devices can be added. The walls would then need to be repaired and painted. These are personal opinions. Regards EQF |

The address for the Web site can be found by going to almost any major search engine and typing in: earthquake research data.html index.html My forecasting Web site should be at the top of the response list. The latest forecast charts can be accessed on the Data.html Web page that has a link on the index.html Web page. Additional information will likely be posted regarding all of this in the coming days. It should be quite easy to tell that a new and significant earthquake is the one that was expected, after it occurs. My forecasting method did an extremely good job of pointing to the location of a powerful Japan area earthquake that occurred earlier this year. Had earthquake workers in Japan been using the forecasting method, they might have been able to tell when and where the earthquake was going to occur. These are personal opinions. EQF |

But, it appears that the following fairly powerful earthquake is the one that my most recent high intensity earthquake precursor EM Signals were associated with. 2022/05/10 23:06:29 23.61S 66.72W 194 6.8 "78 km NNW of San Antonio de los Cobres, Argentina" It occurred at 67 W, right about where I proposed that it might occur (65W). My forecasting computer programs work only with longitudes, not latitudes. The EM Signals that I work with can be generated by multiple approaching earthquakes. Partly as a result of that, there are several others in PNG and Japan that also match some of the EM Signals. In any case, I sincerely hope that the one in Argentina was responsible for most of the recent high intensity EM Signals. Otherwise, we could have another one on the way. I might not know about that for certain until more EM Signals are detected. Right now, things are fairly quiet. One of the reasons that the one in Argentina looks like a likely candidate is that it gave people living in that area a good shake even though it was fairly deep, much deeper than I thought it would be. If you go to the Yahoo search site and type in “earthquake Argentina shelves” a link should appear showing a video that people living in that area made where objects were falling off shelves. The main reason that the Argentina earthquake looks like a good candidate can be seen with the following chart from my earthquake forecasting Web site.
In the above image you can see line peaks going back to late February of 2022 at around 67 W, right where the earthquake occurred. The top line is for the earthquake itself. The high quality match between that earthquake and the Time Line line peaks below it indicate that it was probably the one that was expected. It is my belief that all of this involves some of the most advanced earthquake forecasting technology that has ever been developed in any country on the planet. EM Signals can be detected at probably any location on the planet for a good percentage of the powerful earthquakes that are occurring around the world. I DO believe that I know how to get the U.S. Government to start taking earthquake forecasting seriously. My opinions regarding technical matters have over the years been surprising highly regarded by some very important people. With regard to earthquake forecasting, I have simply not yet had time to put the fairly complex plans I have developed into action. These are personal opinions. Regards to all, EQF |
