The latest problem is with the updates to the quake file.

I download whatever interval of quakes from USGS. There have to be trimmed down to the actual quake date/time/location/ etc information.

I've been doing this without problems...until now.
Suddenly my program insists that the latest update file is one line long and has 11,347 characters in it.

I've asked the USGS if they changed something but so far no answer.

Nothing's changed as far as I can tell. I just
downloaded some data in CSV format yesterday. My
program had no trouble parsing it.

I will tell you this, the CSV files only have
line feed characters at the end which is the UNIX
standard.

Windows text files have a carriage return AND
line feed characters for new lines.

Make sure your code and TrueBASIC is handling
this correctly.
