Bev1

Too vague to bother with.

Hi Roger,

That is correct. I am guessing that it is some type of ISP problem.

One minute I cannot get access to the site and a moment later I can as this post shows. That has been going on for months.

Regards to all,

EQF

Subject: Gravity Detection Forecasting Method - October 24, 2020

Posted by EQF October 24, 2020

It is still very difficult to even access this site. This was only the second time my system would connect during the past few weeks.

As stated before, I believe that it is likely a problem with my Internet provider.

One of the notes that I wanted to post earlier in time has to do with information sent to me by a forecasting group in the Europe - Asia area.

They stated that they have had some success with an earthquake forecasting method that involves detecting gravity changes during the days and weeks before an earthquake occurs.

It reportedly enables them to tell when, where, and how powerful an approaching earthquake is going to be.

There weren't too many details. But I expect that they are using superconducting gravity sensors.

It would also be my guess that they need at least 3 systems located around the fault zone so that they can make accurate location determinations.

Information related to the pattern that they said that the gravity waves follow was somewhat surprising. Based on what might be expected to happen in the fault zone area I would have expected something different.

I requested more details and plan to post another note about this if they send any more information. It does not sound like their data have been published so far.

I have thought for quite a while that gravity sensors might be some of the best forecasting tools.

Years ago another group told me about their belief that very sensitive analytical balances would probably work for doing that same thing.

EQF;

If one had a network of gravimeters around the fault
zones it would be possible to detect the movement of
magma but determining when and where the fault would
rupture is another matter.

EQF;

Are you talking about the PEGS method?

It's the first time I've heard of it despite my gravity
background.

Hi Roger,

They did not include too many details in the information they sent me. I also did not include certain details in my earlier post because I don't know if they wanted them to be kept confidential. There was nothing in the E-mail that said their data were confidential. But it is best not to assume anything and get people upset.

They reportedly found patterns in the data that showed all three factors, time, location, and the amount of energy the earthquake might release.

There was nothing in the E-mail about PEGS. I also don't know what PEGS is. They apparently have a new method that locks in on certain types of distinct gravity signals.

I am guessing that perhaps the most serious limiting factor with that method would be the need to have the gravity sensors near the fault zone.

EQF

I did some reading and believe that I now know what PEGS is. Plus, based on what I read I might have been able develop a new theory for how the electromagnetic earthquake forecasting signals (EM Signals) that I work with are being generated.

The forecasting information sent to me by those other researchers is not the PEGS method based on what I read. This new method actually predicts earthquakes days and weeks ahead of time.

These are personal opinions.

EQF
