Most scientists would probably be of the opinion that short of its hitting the Earth, a nearby comet would be unlikely to have any influence on earthquakes. The gravity factor would be small.

I am not saying that this is not possible. I am just reporting what most scientists likely presently believe.

An EM Signal was detected on July 23, 2020. But it was not especially strong.
