Subject: planting spring perenials |

we are in this house for the third spring. had to find
out what flowers were existing. now i can add to the
flowers. the home was built in 77 and we are the second
family to live here. i have five clematis here and haver
added three this spring. added a hollyhock. eight
bleeding hearts. i bought some plants from Walmart.
the price was good and the condition of the plants was
terrible. i will use utmost care to keep them growing
but its a REAL JOB. no more plants from walmart. i am
glad spring is here.

I love bleeding hearts! I’ve got seeds for thornless roses that are drought
resistant, love the sun all day, & are annuals. They will climb a trellis as
well. Really looking forward to Spring this is the 1st.day flowers are
blooming, flowers are sprouting! Now that I’m retired I enjoy working out
front. Our home has been painted a beautiful country Gray top to bottom.
I now love driving up to our home. My million bells still alive! And
bloomed till Dec. I’m going to change the dirt, wait 2- wks then fertilize
it. It’s a double blossom, the only one I’ve I ever seen. High bred I’m
sure.i did get it w/ a gift certificate so I went to a real garden place. I’ll
send pictures if you will.

i loooove bleeding hearts! i had planted hollyhock at our house we had before this, have been wondering what happened to it as the house had burned down.
