Ive heard birds singing but didnt see them. My flower
bulbs are coming up. The worry is things will bud and a
hard freeze will take them. I have a lot of fruit trees
and that would make me sad. Feb tends to be our coldest
month lately

I noticed today that I have some bulbs popping up! I
thought it seemed a bit early. Meanwhile I haven't even
planted my new bulbs because it was so warm and windy
here for so long. Nothing makes sense.

been real cold here...mid-teens for several nights now...water was frozen in the chicken coop this morning...first time i remember that ever happening...bulbs are happening and for sure, a bud killing freeze seems quite possible...
