he returned to drs. - he said its looking better and doesn't need anymore antibiotics- even though it still hurts. Looking at it-to me, the redness and swelling gone down- and doc said it will continue to heal= so hopefully the doc is right and my son won't have to go back for more antibiotics. meantime I'm have all sorts of help paying people with cleqaning out house since it didn't have a pre-clean to begin with- and my bath nurse is helping too- with unpacking, etc.

Thats great he is healing. Is there nothing they can do to keep this from happening again? Im going for allergy testing this afternoon. Mine get worse every year and Im willing to do whatever it takes. My son is just as bad even with the shots. We have hardwood floors, leather furniture and no curtains and I run the Roomba a lot plus Dyson air filters all over.

thks- if you did not know about the condition of the apt we just moved from, the MOLD was in his bathroom and my bathroom- highly allergic! and we had to put up with it since mid July- and we don't even know what kind of mold it was- it coasts 700.00 to test that- so his allergist just said get the heck out of there asap- in meantime he just kept flaring up and his psoriasis flared to bleeding breakouts- horrible freaking scary shit and we did not have anywhere to go til we found the new place- and moved in on day before Thanksgiving, His finger however got infected, which took him to urgent care and antibiotics. Due to open sores on his body and also on the finger- thus the finger was infected due to open sores. He returned to his job on Monday which is remote computer work. Just glad it didn't get any worse and is seeming to heal. His livleyhood depends on using his hands for computer work done at home- he is allergic to all kinds of things. Already knew this. We've been using one air filter and going to get another one asap. This one bath house doesn't have the type of sinks and bathtub and also has a window that opens, tho we live in freezing temps, thus less chance for mold to collect since we keep it clean with cleaning help I pay for, the other types of sinks have a blow hole for when water overflows or splaces and thats where the mold was staying and collecting but even when we used a cleaner to get mold out- it would not stay- so kept collecting in there- they should just throw all those types of sinks away. Also we found out that in his bathtub/shower- in the other place, maintence had already changed out the entire bathtub/shower stall- prior to us moving there- without cleaning up the mold which had collected there! So they just slapped a brand new unit on top of the mold, ejiots. Freaking nightmare. And his poor finger- I was concerned of him losing his finger!!!! and of course losing his mind.

Thanks for this update, pamela, almost missed it!
Happy to hear your son's hand is healing, sure wish it wasn't hurting him so much... Hopefully pulling out the stops to get that place squeaky will help it heal as well...
I'm sorry this move has turned out to involve so much difficulty and much more work, I hope once this is behind you that you guys have beautiful happy times there!
