I passed another martial arts belt test today - 2 hours
long - but passed and now am 1 belt away from Black Belt!
I am pretty proud of myself seeing that I accomplished
this being a 70yo Geezette who is going in for a total
hip replacement in less than a month!

Hip replacement is an easy surgery. 6- weeks of PT and you’ll be good as
new. Been there done that. I did have to spent one night in the hospital.
Make sure you get a raised toilet seat with handles on each side. It really
helped. You can order one on line. Good luck on surgery day. Take care &
keep the pain level under control. I did fine. Plus my ins. Paid for two
weeks at home right after surgery-
The lateral cut in the front of your hip heals much faster than on the side.
So you might want to ask about that.
