In a word it's surreal. The devastating is horrific in
some areas. I'm reading the whole region likely won't
have water for weeks. Road to the reservoir was
destroyed, making crucial repairs difficult. Main water
lines, pumps destroyed. I have a very spotty Internet
connection, but I expecting electricity back within a
couple of days. My community is fantastic. Alot of
generosity, cooperation. I've been volunteering, but
mostly in survival mode. We laughed a lot yesterday.
Spent much of the day yesterday collecting water for
ourselves & distributing some to folks who can't leave
their homes.. I think Biden might have flown over us
yesterday.
Don't worry, I'll be back. Wahahaha
Thanks for the care.. I can still make cold pressed
coffee, so there's that.

my goodness!!i didn't know you were in the path as i
dont know where a lot of us are. so glad you are ok, and
hope they can get basic need met for everyone quickly!

Just got electricity back today. No water yet, but possibly very soon. The only
reason I can flush the toilet is because my neighbor's basement supplied me
with a gazillion gallons of water after it got pumped out.
I've never lived through anything like that. Gaza without the bombs...
(sorry) Yea, I volunteered a couple of times, but have mostly been living in
survival mode. Thankfully I didn't go through it alone. Maybe more about it
later. Early voting starts in NC next week, but not sure if the infrastructure will
be up. I have a lot to catch up on. Hey, we haven't been nuked yet, and we
haven't even nuked anybody yet. Yea!! Glad your friend in Asheville is okay,
Pamela.

Yay, thanks for update- it is a friend and my niece, who
dogged the flooding- now my niece is back helping her
neighbors..

May God Bless you and your family! Can’t even fathom what y’all are
having to deal with. Thank God the people in your area are helping one
another!
Federal government is a real piece of work. When they can treat illegals
better than any of the AMERICANS! FEMA HAS REPORTED anyone who
live in the line of all the storm damage will a whopping $750.00!
Help me now.
Just glad you & all concerned are ok and making the best of a very
horrific storm damage. Sure hope independent volunteers get the help to
the in need ASAP!
Obiden was asked about the help the Feds have done for storm damage
families. He said ‘ WHAT STORM’… he also said everyone is happy w/ the
help they have gotten. BIG PILE OF BS IMO.

Thanks shadow. I saw Eve had posted on the dreams board and I thought
it was this morning but it was around 10pm last night. I hope she is doing
okay also. I don’t know where Eaamon lives in Tennessee, but we were
lucky and the residual moved further east.
