A couple days ago a good friend of ours called. His
doctor was telling him to go to the ER, and he didn't
want to because he had two dogs at home who are his
whole world. He put off a doctor visit because he
doesn't like doctors, and was kind of hiding his
condition so no one would make him go.
he had gone in to finally see about an infection in his
foot. But, when the doc saw it..it was real bad, like
septic.
We told him we'd bring his dogs here and care for them
until he was better. He finally agreed to go to the ER.
They put him on massive IV antibiotics and transferred
him to a larger, city hospital.
After a surgery to remove dead tissue, they also found
he needed a stent in his leg and he has a bad valve and
is going to need urgent heart surgery. They're going to
transfer him, again, to an even larger hospital in Los
Angeles. He's also going to need skin grafts for one
foot the infection was so bad. They hope to do the
surgery early next week.
He's having a real rough week.
His dogs miss him, but they're sweet dogs and get along
well with ours. He calls three times a day to make sure
they're okay. He's about 80 yrs old and lives by
himself.
So, I would like to ask for prayers for him. He has no
family and his friends and neighbors are very
concerned. His name is Lee. Thanks :)

Lee is in his first heart surgery as I type this morning
to repair one valve. He's scheduled for his second valve
surgery next Tuesday.
Keep those prayers coming for good outcomes!
His puppers miss him terribly, and I can't wait to see
the overjoyed reunion when he comes home...if all goes
well, by the end of next week.

Prayers are being said for this poor guy. It’s so sad. 😞 I hope he
recovers soon, & be with his pups.

I just like sleeping at night. His dogs (KJ and Kobe)
are sweet and we've known them since they were pups.
They miss they're dad, but at least their in a familiar
place with people familiar to them while they wait for
him to come home.
Last word is he's in LA now awaiting his heart surgery
Monday or Tuesday. He calls daily and we have to put
the phone up to his dogs so they hear his voice. They
always wag when they hear it.
These dogs are his whole world. How could we do
otherwise?
Just keep our friend in your thoughts this week. We
hope to see them all reunited soon and a happy ending
for all.
