You need to be more than alive. Started seeds for the
spring garden? Get it tilled. Get busy!

Great to have a birthday at springtime. Happy
birthday.

i have cilantro, marigolds, sweet peas, zinnias,
echinacea and holly hocks seeds in pots. sweet peas are
up. today 6" rock wall around oak tree is placed this
morning. got to level it up and i have compost to fill
in the dirt. hostas will be planted there. moved to
this home last summer so this is the first year to take
care of the plants and shrubs. i had pruned the roses a
while ago but the wife took me yesterday to really show
me how to prune the roses. i had not grown them in the
past. she really cut them back. put plants in the
garage for winter out to get some light and warmth.
thanks for the inspiration...

I had a friend who had never pruned his roses. I took
the clippers and cut them back. He was certain his
roses were dead. He gave them extra care to "save"
them, food & water... And was astonished that year when
they had the best blooms he had ever seen. Your wife
knows. Get her a pretty vase.

I would guess they are native to the area. We have them here as well.
