I don't know about you guys, but it's been a rough week. I'm ready for something light and fun. Halloween is coming up. One of the funnest things about this holiday (at least for me) is the creative and wonderful costumes!! Are you going to a halloween event? What are you wearing? Do you have children, grandchildren or pets that are getting dressed up...what are they going as this year? Have you seen a very clever costume in your travels online that tickled you...share! |

We are about ready to go to my cousins Halloween party. Im making caprese skewers with our homegrown tomatoes. Its pretty much the end of them but its great they held on. Im not a costume person. I asked the family how they felt about a costume for our new pup Woody, big no from them. I was at Lowes yesterday admiring a guys new pup. $7000 for his German Shepard. I about choked. Purebread champ bloodlines but still. Woody is a mutt and we just sent his DNA off for fun. Love me a good mutt |

sorry about your fridge. I constantly have a love/hate relationship with my appliances all the time. At one point I had so many malfunctioning at the same time for different reasons, I started putting holy water in the rinse despensers, ice trays, microwave bowls (hey, couldn't hurt...BE GONE SATAN...and return to rinse cycle). This week, it's weather stripping, caulking, painting and the RV generator (which I need if the house power goes out ..it's the emergency back up house lol). But..you know, that's life huh? I'm guessing pretty much everyone deals with that kind of stuff. so...back to the "fun" stuff, I belong to a club and we're doing trunk or treat in town for the kids. We're doing an Addams family theme...and we're practicing the "Wednesday Dance" to do for the kids as a group. I'm playing "Grandmama" Addams...I've aged into the role lol. My costume is coming together. |

Just reporting: the Trunk or Treat went great friday night. There were a couple hundred kids (all adorable), and the police department and fire department had booths with games. We did our "Wednesday" dance on the back of the pick up truck for the kids and did the Addams family theme (snap-snap). We were joined by "Wolfman" and we all howled, and got the kids to howl along. It Was a great time, but COLD out there (hubby was doing hot coffee/cocoa runs). All the little kids (and the bigger ones, and parents who dressed up with their kids) were just outstanding. I know there was another community party for the kids yesterday (I didn't attend that one), and a haunted house set up in town, another business treat trail downtown on Halloween proper, as well as other fun things for the kids in our small town.It's nice to have so many things for the kids to do here. I've been out of the loop but last I knew Blindhog was very much a Trump supporter. They state the costume is disgusting, but they worship the individual who brags about grabbing, to quote Trump's crudeness, pussy. Blindhog is on a tear about vulgarity yet worships something quite literally vulgar. I am going to apologize at this point to everyone here for even responding to them and bringing the quality of this thread down. Should've ignored them. For the record I find the costume fine. I find Blindhog to be vulgar with their double standards. |
