...in our young adult life based on our experiences and our coping skills developed as we are growing up in dysfunctional situations.
I was thinking about this while listening to a tarot reader "interpreting" the cards she dealt regarding why Prince Harry is still sticking it out with Meghan Markle.
The following are just my thoughts and may or may not resonate with anyone else.
IMO, Harry's attraction to Meghan is based on his own father's emotional or non-emotional interactions toward him, the son of Diana, while in a marriage that Charles hated being in. The character called Meghan Markle is not so much Diana to Harry, but rather Charles. Her warped emotional yoyoing with Harry replicates Charles warped emotional yoyoing he displayed to Harry as he was growing up.
I also think of the recent story about how devastated William was, and probably still is, to being "relieved" of his position as a rescue helicopter pilot, being the person in charge of helping save, if at all possible, the lives of people caught/trapped in life threatening situations.
I believe as the main source of emotional support to his much loved younger brother in the early years living with parents who couldn't stand each other, William was in fact Harry's rescuer, and even more so in the traumatic years following their mother's controversial and unexpected death.
It would be interesting to find out if anyone in the psychiatric field agrees with my thoughts on Harry and William and how their younger years shaped their future years.

i think most people here and elsewhere are so busy and overwhelmed with what is going on in their lives, to take their time to analyze the 'royal' family.

...from a disfunctional home can affect every one of us.
A recent example of that is sung about in Eric Church's song 'Cause My Dad Did'.
