So glad to see you drop in and say "Hi!". Thanks for telling us how you met JOB. And thank you for carrying the torch on the old Syzygy boards. If it wasn't for you and Ryan (and JOB of course!) there would be a huge hole in our knowledge about earthquakes and related subjects.

The thing about getting older, which I can't seem to stop, is friends pass... There was so much sadness for me on the site History page hear. So many deceased!

There is some joy to be found though. :)
An example is, I have a good friend who had moved down to
San Diego 10 years back and was really struggling with
cancer. He was near on his death bed; he was one I was
near certain would be gone. But there he is still on FB,
which I'd been away from for near 5 years. :) We had a
very long and nice chat yesterday.

What would we do without high notes like these, your
finding this dear one still with us? Refocusing into the
everyday miracles that, of course, never stop happening but
can too often fade into the background in light of
challenging intensities is so healing...

And of course, there is you and others, still here! :)
The sad fact is, if you weren't part of the problems, I
had little time to interact with so many. And then there
is Mr. Bopp! How he has kept the peace and for 3 times
longer than I ran things, astounds me! He is clearly a
better manager than I ever was! Much respect and
gratitude to him!

Yep! Many of us continue to prevail, including yourself,
and now you can interact all you like!
And speaking of prevailing...omg!...managing/moderating a
Forum upon which one also contributes one's own views,
rolling with the inevitable uproar doing so can't help but
draw -- no way on any world could I find the poise and
grace to pull that off, not for a day, and I share your
respect and gratitude for his capacity to do so for so
long, as do many here! ;)
