Yesterday had coffee with a former neighbor. Her
daughter (in her early 50s) was a former political
'fixer'; her son in law is a retired vp of a service
employees union and called one of the most successful
union organizer of the last 25 years. She shared with
me that the daugther and sil are moving to Spain. Why
- because they fear and know that the damage that this
current administration has done and will do to our
country will take decades to repair. And after their
working for the past 30+ years fighting the 'fights',
the daughter and sil no longer have the energy to
'fight' these kinds of battles anymore and need to
focus on taking care of themselves and their well
being. They are NOT optimistic at all about the future
here in our country.

Well, Hierophant, for those who have the means to move,
that's a wonderful option...
For those of us who don't...and are *just a little put
out' like me, by these psycho children trying to usurp my
country's entire spirit and trajectory of Freedom...which
was hard won by many of my ancestors on both my mother's
and father's side...and are not inclined toward caving in
the face of what appear to be intractable odds...
...we'll be here not only holding the core of the
country's essence sacred against all attackers, but
feeding the r/evolutionary energy that will upend this
nonsense and begin the work of rebuilding...
I realize there's not many (anyone but me? lol) doing the
heavy lifting for positivity, here...no worries, the whys
of how people cannot reach for it right now are deeply
understood...their tactics are overwhelming...but it's
important not to let them win *within*...........

it's like the weather...sometimes it rains and rages, sometimes it's sunny and blue skies...it comes, it goes...one must pay attention tho so one doesn't get struck by lightning or swept away by a flood or ;lost in a blizzard...whatever the weather of the day, we have to deal with it...

Your positivity reminds me of the core vision of Christianity. At least the
way I see it.. which I am sure is uniquely mine.
The Christ said, something to the effect of, we shall do all he’s done and
more..
In my life’s contemplation of The Christ I often ponder on the amount of
grace required to suffer while retaining, standing in, the same grace with
which The Christ was nailed to a cross. Obviously, it’s more than I got.. ie
if some fucker came at me with hammer and nails I know I ain’t got what
it takes to love them with the same calm composure.. with any
composure at all..
Whereas your vision of positivity is pretty much the same as The Christ’s.

And God bless you as well, dear brother ao, you're very
kind...and that's my orientation as well... We hold loving
awareness of the energetic frequency Yeshua modeled/models,
it's our intention to emulate it best we can in any given
moment and, dependably, I still fly off those rails of
grace on a moment-by-moment basis...
Holding that frequency is the most beautiful, powerful
endeavor I can imagine as an incarnate being...

yup, I'll be here as well....but yes, it is SOOOOO very
challenging right now to find positivity outside of my
own little bubble. Mostly because when looking at the
'going to take decades' view, my future is short and I
won't probaby see the outcome of the battles but will be
enduring them during. This isn't how I envisioned my
last years on Earth to be - no, I didn't think I would be
sitting on a beach indulging in Mai Tais, but I didn't
think the country I lived in would be so emeshed in its
tipping towards fascism.

I’m right there with you, hon… my future’s very short and no, nothing
could have prepared us for what we’re currently staring down……
It’s entirely *unacceptable,* and I must stand firm in *knowing* we
haven’t come this far only to fail at real-izing the virtues this country was
set up to enact…for ALL…
