Can you imagine a woman, a girl, a child, who has been sexually attacked
by aggressive males, raped, battered, held down in dominance by men
who brutally have their way with them, having to face that their fellow
citizens, community, neighbors, have voted for a man who has been
charged guilty of sexual assault, to be their president?
Can you imagine the post traumatic stress when having to face this man
on the screen for four years, making decisions for them and their families?
How horrifying to put these females into such precarious positioning.
Giving him such power over the nation, especially as he has said things
like “I will take care of women” with the same look in his eye from years
ago as he leered at the body of his young daughter saying inappropriately
that he would date her if he could. Then smirking into the camera.
Why didn’t you husbands spare your wives, your very own daughters and
granddaughters having to be put under the power of such a man? Why
didn’t men spare the pain of every assaulted woman by keeping this man
out of their lives and protect them from the agony of every bad memory
being triggered and adding to their suffering and fear.
Why didn’t you?

"Why they didn't"...is because so many of them are
utterly lost within the desensitized depravity that
religious fascism cultivates... So many were literally
*raised that way,* believe it or not, and those who were
not, who are younger souls, are literally *over the Moon*
with delirious joy that their "superiority" -- no matter
what they do! -- has been politically approved and
whitewashed...
All's you have to do is watch the "Your body, my choice"
horrors coming out (article at link) to realize that this
has been long time coming, for so many men...! (I'll pass
you the puke pail when I'm done with it...)
Calling them animalistic is an insult to the animal
kingdom...they're more appropriately termed human
reptiles...in human bodies, but absolutely, entirely and
completely *cold-blooded* on all levels...nothing
remotely human nor humane left within them...

well, women are not giving up. We haven't for thousands
of years. I came across an announcement in my travels
for the "Women's March" which, I guess they plan to hold
across the country in various cities on January 18th.
There is a link toward the end of the article to the
"Women's March" website. They don't have the event
posted on their site yet, but someone sent me a link to
the facebook announcement of the January 18th event.

Hell no we're not...
I may be singing silly songs to myself, to stay
sane...lol...but I'm a lit torch, and I look forward to
igniting with others and comprising the force for women's
freedom and rights that cannot be denied...
Rather than by violence we will win this affront to
humanity, and female humanity, through Grace...by
persevering relentlessly, peacefully, in ways they never
would have imagined possible... ;D ...and never giving
up...

...and if I might add...since I've been a rape victim, and
my rapist *was laughing all the time he was raping and
beating me*...reminding me *quite a bit* of these reptilian
men in the article...and knowing there are literally men
reading this post I'm making, right now, and *laughing to
themselves*...celebrating that this happened to me, hoping
it happens again...
...I will not be standing down from defying you, and your
attempts to make desensitized inhumane cruelty *the way

Yeah, it's weird to put out there, but I think some men
*just don't get it,* the immediate literal danger to
women's lives this legislation represents...their women's

I am so sorry you had to suffer such abuse. No woman should have to
experience this violence. Or live it over and over again.
Many men did not consider this part of supporting Trump. How many
more mothers sisters cousins daughters granddaughters must suffer from
the abuse of male dominance? And be subjected to abusers in powerful
positions above them? The innocent of all ages deserve better. But if real
men cannot stand up for their own loved ones, they don’t deserve them in
their lives.

power over the weak or excused it as unimportant in the
benefit of other policies, usually just softer, even
religious, legal, forms of power.

Thank you, etc... I know I've mentioned this very
personal experience before, but it seems time to utilize
it once again toward helping men *feel past their
desensitization* into the truths of what women will
experience, under DJTs/the GOPs inhumane influence...at
least, whatever men have the capacity to read something
like my experience and be affected by it at all...
And yes...by my lights, it *will be* what men go through,
watching *their women* suffer under this...or, for the
unfortunately-afflicted men who will now act out even
greater violent domination of *their women,* watching
what their own women go through *by their own hands,*
that will, one day, turn the tide... Each man, of
course...each human...has a unique curriculum of
soulgrowth to walk through that is perfect for them, so
individual timing always rules...but I wholeheartedly
know and believe *that all will come to understand* that
domination over other humans, violence done toward them,
whatever gender, whatever circumstances, is *never okay,*
by having experienced the blowback, the consequences, of
doing so...
Excruciatingly slowly but surely it will happen...and *it
will happen* regardless of whichever "party" or
"administration" happens to be in place... Infinite Love
will not be mocked... ;)

It seems in every war people come to understand the
horrors do not justify the anger and hate and people
try to leave it behind.
I, too, believe all will come to understand, hopefully
not so "farther along" that there will still be a
planet able to host the diversity and beauty of nature.
You have surpassed any event in your life, shining
light into the dark until it was met in kind. Brava.

your own Light so beautifully as you do...
I'd never heard of that song, thank you for sharing it! I
stalk pieces with tight harmonies, surprised I'd never
come across it...and with those three voices, what a gem,
brought some tears...
And yes...may all the levels of understanding we need to
live in mutual respect, in cocreative, cooperaative,
sustainable ways on Earth come together far, far sooner
than later... I have no doubt that our current reality
will be igniting some mighty stalwart and feisty females,
and hopefully males, into levels of proactive activism
never before seen... ;)

That "ignition" gives me pause.
The woman's vote, the unions, civil rights all cost
tremendous effort and too much sacrifice for
reasonable, logical result.
It saddens me it must happen again or we submit to
incremental slavery.

Yeah...that *sad* word nor its derivative *sadden* just
don't cover anything happening anymore, does it?
I could have handled another country invading ours much
more easily than I'm going to be able to wake up every
day knowing that people in our own country sold us out to
fascism...in ways they are so entirely oblivious of...
It's going to be quite the shock for them, once they
realize what they've done... For us, not so much...
I live in AZ...wondering how the lives of Democrats like
us are going to be protected, once we have points on our
backs for any handy tailswagger looking for target
practice...with no fear of prosecution...
