Stephen Miller@StephenM Yes. We started a new denaturalization project under Trump. In 2025, expect it to be turbocharged. 9:16 AM · Oct 11, 2023

GOP Plans to “Turbocharge” Trump’s Denaturalization Project Threaten the Nation’s Core Values
“The denaturalization campaign that began under Trump, and which close advisor Stephen Miller now promises to “turbocharge” is an attack on the fundamental principles of fairness, stability, and equal rights that citizenship represents.”
WASHINGTON, DC – Kerri Talbot, Executive Director of the Immigration Hub, issued the following statement on Citizenship Day.
“On Citizenship Day, we recognize and celebrate the millions of immigrants who have embraced the opportunities of U.S. citizenship. For these individuals, citizenship represents a commitment to the values of democracy, equality, and shared prosperity that define our nation. Naturalized citizens have long been key contributors to America’s growth and success, enriching our economy, culture, and communities.
“However, it is imperative to acknowledge that these same citizens would be under attack in a Trump-Vance administration. Their Project 2025 agenda would target naturalized citizens and see those who have earned their place in this country deported. The denaturalization campaign that began under Trump, and which close advisor Stephen Miller now promises to “turbocharge” is an attack on the fundamental principles of fairness, stability, and equal rights that citizenship represents. Such policies are rooted in fear and exclusion, not in the principles of justice and equality that should guide our nation.”

Yup, that is what's coming.
I spoke to a restaurant owner the other day. He was clearly hispanic and proud of the business he built. He had a heavy accent, but told me he had voted for Trump. I guessed he is probably a immigrant and now a naturalized citizen, probably after many long years of hard work to get to that place, and then build his restaurant business. He thought Trump would be good for his business, but asked me what I thought.
I said it's going to be a mixed bag for him. Trump would likely do away with overtime pay, regulations like OSHA that means less labor costs for you. But, his tariffs will raise the price on the product he had to buy for his business. Much of the food there isn't grown in the US, and has to be imported.
And what I didn't say, I just didn't know him that well, is all of that might be for naught if he's de- naturalized and deported anyway.
He was a nice guy. I wish him well, but I fear for fellow citizens like him.
If he has a family member that isn't documented in his home..the whole family could end up at one of those future camps Miller and Trump have broadcasted they will build.
It's terribly sad. I couldn't even bring it up..what was the point. He had already cast his vote. I hope he enjoys is win for the moment. His life could well be turned into a nightmare soon.
