Yes, Ryan, it is not only for America but for the world.
All hope just went down the garbage disposal - because
the next 4 years will be one filled with so much hate and
anger, where fascism will be the rule of the day, where
women's rights will be thrown back to the 1800s, where
ultra rabid conservative "Christianity" will promote
discrimination and exclusion and hate, where our
environment and Earth will cry out in pain, where the 1%
will become even wealthier on the suffering of the middle
and lower classes, where the world will hold it's breath
every morning awaiting the next hammer blow of indecency.
Yes, it is a very very sad day indeed.

It's always been the only way...humans
will externalize and battle their own
shadows/unconscious egos *until and
unless* they can finally realize they're
only fighting themselves...turn around and
face them, love them and heal them...
I'd believed we'd come far enough in
consciousness for that process to not

Yes, I don't think they know what is coming or thinks it
won't be "them" who are affected by it. It's going to be
a very hard reality for them when they finally
understand. This was not a game and it will not be
pretty, and since Trump no longer needs his base, they
will not be spared either.

simple fact that: He's not in that big chair, yet.

He's "won the election" running on a ticket that openly
plans to disempower democracy... While I know Democratic
lawyers have nowhere near the conscienceless sharkteeth
Republican ones have, it's hard for me to imagine there
isn't something actionable there, somewhere...

It's been a shock, yes and, yes, nothing may stop them
and their tyranny may yet come into "power"... But that
would only mean that humanity has a much longer road yet,
to its full Freedom, than we had realized...
And lest this be mistaken for a call to violence: No,

could translate to this not happening... Hey, after this,

Mitra, I realize my optimism has even less credibility
than yesterday...and I really don't care...all's I can do
is keep speaking what I feel to be Truth as I see it...
I still don't believe it's our destiny as a country to
have to slog through the violence of our evolution being
turned back several centuries by witless, clueless old
white men...no matter how much mind control over their
women, and far too many men, appears to have temporarily
succeeded... Even should they gain control for awhile,
their fruits will become quickly apparent and there are
far, far too many in the world, and here at home, who
