and its role in capitalism is severely flawed...it is built on the promise of constant growth, to appease the stockholders...it does not reward a company that makes a good product...it rewards companies that increase their profits annually by whatever means, acquisitions, work force reduction, mergers, cheaper materials...anything that increases the bottom line...it does not reward companies that are satisfied with putting out good, well made and long lasting products, and are satisfied with that...i read recently about a company that put out really good water heaters, that lasted 75 years or more...they went out of business because their products were TOO GOOD!!! something really wrong with this picture...my rant for the day...

We need a Rant and Vent board...
And do away with the political boards, ie National, International, Health, and
Environmental.
If the idiots move their crap to another board, do away of them...
