Okay. Went through the drill.

Ordered the mail-in ballot.
Finally arrived.
Filled it out.
Drove to town for notary to make it official, then
another part of town to deliver ballot to election
board.

After walking halfway back to the car, broke down,
started to cry.

I just voted for a woman of color for President. So
long coming, it's a beautiful day.

Showed I.D. at notary and the Election Board. But will
not have to stand in a long line!

There are a few places that will notarize for free and
advertise. Banks, credit unions, libraries.

This is a reeeeaaalllly red state.

It is not unusual that offices have no Democratic
candidates, or thinly veiled "moderates".

The last Democratic challenger to the Republican
governor had switched parties weeks before required.
