If Trump wins, the price of bananas would go up for ordinary Americans with his
10-20% tariff --the word he loves most. The vast majority come from
Guatemala & Costa Rica. So how exactly is this going to lower the grocery
bill?
Old timer, if you think Trump's policies are going to be so good for the US
economy, can you answer this please?

wasn’t an economist even before i retired. i’m confident i could find
gotcha things like that about kamala’s economic policies. don’t expect me
to defend trump as i’m not a fan of his nor a political analyst. just obvious
the democrats didn’t put up much of a candidate this year, from the
president with the lowest approval rating ever and dementia to his vp who
also had historically low approval ratings and can’t answer basic
questions in interviews. we the people deserve better choices but this is
what we got

Trump is not the answer to that at all.
I happen to think she's a pretty kick-ass woman and
like her a great deal, even before she was VP ...and
even more now. I've watched her and her answers have
been good, more than good...and certainly better than
his "concepts" of plans (seriously? You think that's a
good answer? Tariffs on everything? Concentration
camps, RR cars of tatooed brown immigrants and
political enemies? wtf are you thinking?).
All of our arguments for trump fall apart..economy,
crime and Trump himself shot immigration in the foot.
His foot remains in his mouth as he threatens an ethnic
cleansing right here in our own country, and a good old
fascist cleansing of anyone who speaks against him. His
first four years were horrid, his second promise a
complete nightmare of violence and destruction of our
country and constitution.
I, for one, do not wish to be part of the new Reich and
can't imagine any reason to vote for it. He's not
strong, he's weak in character, morals, intellect and
mind. There's no future for America where that ends
well for you, me or our children (let alone the world's
children).
For someone you claim to not like, you sure defend this
piece of *#@$^ a lot.
What does that make you who shill for him? A reluctant
fascist?

we think, we understand what is happening, we just aren’t so simple
minded we are spooked and voting based on fear. if kamala had anything
at all going for her should wouldn’t answer every damn question with but
trump. stop letting tv talking heads program you and take a look at the

Old Timer, it would appear as if, like so many others
like you, you are absolutely committed to your
perspective...and literally either unable or unwilling to
*very deeply consider* the very high price the American
people would pay, were DJT to be elected...on so many
levels...
It's clear to anyone willing to look more deeply that the
GOP dream of Fascist America being projected forward into
real-ization is a sinking ship at its core, at best,
without even the hope that it can balance enough to
float... It's sinking even as the GOPers ignore the very
last tattered vestiges of their consciences to try and
plug the holes...it's sinking with every juvenile verbal
assault and false accusation candidates are hurling in
their last-minute desperation...because Fascism is a
violent, inhumane and hierarchically-based system that
cannot possibly gain any solid foothold here...in a
country that has experienced far too much of what true
effort toward freedom and equal rights for all can
generate, knowing that even with all its flaws and
failures thus far, it is the only Path Forward for anyone
who loves this country, loves the Spirit it was founded
upon, and is absolutely unwilling to throw it all away...
