Fox News pundit Brit Hume said Vice President Harris did little to quell
critics with an interview she granted to the network this week.
“She was combative and energetic and she certainly landed some blows
on Donald Trump,” Hume said on Fox minutes after anchor Bret Baier’s
interview with Harris concluded. “But in terms of how well she answered
your questions … she didn’t give you much Bret and you did a great job of
posing those questions.”
During the less than half hour long interview, which was the Vice
President’s first formal sit down with the top-rated cable news channel,
Baier and Harris sparred over her positions on immigration, gender
reassignment surgery for prisoners and foreign policy.
“I’m sure her partisans will look at that and say yay Kamala,” Hume
continued. “She fought you. But if people have doubts about her I don’t
think she cleared them up.”
Harris’ sit down with Fox was seen as a major moment in the 2024
campaign for president with less than three weeks until Election Day.
The Vice President told Baier her presidency would “not be a
continuation” of President Biden’s and warned that former President
Trump would use violence to crack down on his critics if elected.
Harris has repeatedly pressed Trump to debate her again before election
day, an offer the former president has rejected saying there is not enough
time before Nov. 5.
Trump took part in a town hall that aired on Fox earlier on Thursday, which
focused on women’s issues and the economy.

I think you're confusing the two jobs. Sure she's the candidate but..
Kamala is, right now, Biden's VP. Thats a job. It comes with written and
unwritten requirements. But the basic thing is she works for him. Period.
She stands at his side, she offers advice within the structure of their
relationship but she works for him. And publicly she represents Joe.
And she's still on the job. Now, today. If Joe drops she's right there, now, in
a heartbeat, there.
And grace.. requires her to be graceful. So no.. she ain't gonna dis on Joe.
Though she did say, rightfully, her administration will be different. But
because she's literally on the job, Joe's VP, I think she's right on the money
to leave it at that.
The questions about all this floated by the right are just pointless jabbering
with the intent to discredit. She could do everything asked answer every
question ten times over and more and she'd still be up shit's creek with the
folks that write the drivel that gets passed around.

she said she isn’t joe biden and she isn’t donald trump, but she spent
most of the interview talking about trump. she has had very few
opportunities for the people to get to know her and all she could talk
about was trump!
the whole thing felt like she was trying to fit a mini anti-trump speeches
as the answer to every damn question instead of trying to promote what
she stands for in the interview
