Trump displays growing insanity Trump is a narcissistic megalomanic psychopath and enemy of the people, democracy and America
By DOUG THOMPSON October 13, 2024
Convicted felon DonaldTrump is also a serial liar, documented fraud, ajudicated sexual predator and rapist who encourages violence in the streets and threatens elected offiicials and anyone else who displeases him.
The Editorial Board of The Washington Post doesn’t mince words in its criticism of the disgraced former president who is making a third run for the job after a legal and thorough trouncing in 2020.
Says the Board
Last month in Wisconsin: “They will walk into your kitchen,” Mr. Trump said of undocumented immigrants. “They’ll cut your throat.” Later, he called the same people “animals.”
This week in Scranton, Pa., he claimed (impossibly) that he would pay off the national debt despite his promises of massive tax breaks and new expenditures. After sniping at “stupid” Mitt Romney, whom he said attendees should be glad to be getting “the hell out of here,” he took aim at his opponents. Ms. Harris, he claimed, is a “radical left Marxist” — a tame attack in comparison with another contention: that she was born “mentally impaired.” In Reading, Pa., he called “The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg “demented” as well as “filthy dirty, disgusting.”
Then there is Mr. Trump’s latest crusade, to re-rename North Carolina’s Fort Liberty by dubbing it Fort Bragg once more, so that the base will again honor a Confederate general. This reignites a fight he waged as president, when he vetoed a bipartisan military spending bill over the issue — and saw that veto, also in bipartisan fashion, overridden.
On Thursday at the Detroit Economic Club, he returned to the matter of immigrants: “We allowed them to come in and raid and rape our country. ‘Oh, he used the word rape.’ That’s right, I used the word rape. They raped our country.”
Such actions display Trump himself as “filthy dirty, disgusting” and “demented.” He is a disgraceful, hate-filled old man suffeirng from rapidly spreading dementia on the verge of what mental health experts warn is “on the verge of a dangerous, insant meltdown.”
The Post adds:
It’s hard to discern degrees of bad, but the former president’s lies about the Federal Emergency Management Agency in the wake of two major hurricanes pummeling the Southeast have been particularly insidious. On Fox News, he insisted: “They’re being treated very badly in the Republican areas. They’re not getting water, they’re not getting anything.” Elsewhere, he declared that “Kamala spent all her FEMA money, billions of dollars, on housing for” — you guessed it — “illegal migrants.” These allegations of a politically motivated emergency response are false, but they have discouraged people in need of aid from going to the agency for help. (And, as it turns out, Politico reports, it was Mr. Trump who as president hesitated to give disaster relief to blue parts of the country.)
Reports Vanity Fair:
“This is what you would call a public nervous breakdown,” Matthew Bartlett, a GOP strategist and onetime Trump administration official, told Politico. “This is a guy who cut through the Republican primary like a knife through butter. This is a guy who pummeled a semiconscious president in a debate and literally out of a race. And now this is a guy who cannot come to grips with a competitive presidential race that would require discipline and effective messaging. And we’re seeing a candidate and a campaign absolutely melt down.” As a reminder, last week Trump appeared before the National Association of Black Journalists and told members that the VP, who attended a historically Black college, was only Indian until a few years ago. He presumably thought this would help him with Black voters, but it only demonstrated what many people have long known: that he’s not very bright and doesn’t know how race works.
Notes Bill Press in The Hill newspaper:
Dr. John Gartner, who was professor of psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Medical Center for 28 years and, along with 36 other psychiatrists and mental health professionals, was a contributor to the 2017 bestselling book, “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump.”
I asked Gartner whether he perceived any difference between the cognitive ability of Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Absolutely, he replied. “It’s like comparing apples and rotten oranges.” It’s not just a case of two old men roughly the same age, both showing signs of diminishing sharpness of the mind, Gartner stressed. There’s a huge difference between the two, he said. He could not have put it more clearly: “Biden is aging. Trump is dementing.”
As a mental health professional, Gartner’s been observing Trump for years, I noted. Has he seen any diminishment in mental acuity, I asked. Totally, he replied. When he first wrote about Trump in 2017, Gartner was talking about intermittent examples of mental collapse. “Now,” he said, “he is getting worse. He can’t get through a whole rally without revealing himself. And, because this is a progressive illness, he will continue to get worse. And if he is like most patients like this, at some point, he is literally going to fall off the cognitive cliff and he will be completely incapacitated.”
Sadly, the depravity and insanity does not end with Trump. He is supported by the rabid hate and bigokktry of co-consirators like Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, White trash member of Congress Marjorie Taylor-Greene, his Vice Presidential pick JD Vance, Senator Lindsey Graham and too many other violent extremists who now control the GOP.
Let’s hope and pray that the voters will band together like they did in 2020 and keep Trump out of the White House. Let him rot and die in prison. That’s what he deserves.

Last night listening to trumplican radio, heard repeated three times FEMA spent its money on illegal immigrants.
This, after debunked by the WH, Democrats, every official and Governors.
When repeated again and again by (believed) trusted sources such lies are ingrained with the outrage and frustration of daily life with those who believe the propaganda factory.
"Trump is a narcissistic megalomanic psychopath and enemy of the people, democracy and America"
and he has lots of help.

It's gotten to the point where people being faced with *having to come to terms with the BOTTOM-LINE FACT that a vote for anyone but Harris IS a vote for GOPer Fascism, via the now-clearly-demented Donald Trump,* is generating massive energetic chaos...a giant heaving maelstrom within the masse consciousness of this country...
Many will continue as they are, react to this energetic storm by putting their heads down, blinders up, and voting for DJT *literally No Matter What* (which could literally include his holding a gun to their heads & saying he's going to shoot, without knowing which chamber the bullet's in...and they'd say, Yes, sir, I trust you! Go ahead!)... And for many this *will* serve as the miraculous, functional wakeup call, past the covfefe and into a momentary clear space in which a lightbulb will come on, in their minds, and save them from siding with a psychopath against their fellow citizens...
Me, I'm still holding onto my ticket to some parallel reality where my country isn't being threatened by fucking fascist thugs so tightly it's practically disintegrated...lol...

definition of Fascism (Cambridge dictionary):
fascism noun [ U ] us /ˈfæʃˌɪz·əm/ Add to word list politics & government a political system based on a very powerful leader, state control of social and economic life, and extreme pride in country and race, with no expression of political disagreement allowed
Everyone on the fence should keep that definition in their pocket and check it against what you see Trump saying...before they vote.

It should maybe be written on a cardboard sign in dayglo colors and held at the closest legally-allowed proximities to red-heavy polling places...lol...with ample security along, of course...
