“Democratic Presidential nominee, Kamala Harris, once again landed in
hot water when she had a ‘Hot Mic’ moment which left many Democrats
red-faced and gave fresh ammunition to the Republicans to target the
Vice President.
During a briefing on Hurricane Milton, which has made landfall off the
Florida coast, Vice President Kamala Harris appeared to have a hot mic
moment. This led to the Donald Trump campaign criticizing Kamala Harris
and accusing her of being fed lines and gave further fillip to ongoing
“earpiece” theories.
Harris was discussing the hurricane’s landfall in Florida when she
suddenly covered her mouth and it seemed she was muttering “live
broadcast.” Harris’ team has not responded to these allegations.
National Weather Service Director Ken Graham was detailing the
possibility of devastating floods precipitated by Hurricane Milton. Harris,
who was also taking part in the briefing on video, seemed distracted by
something happening behind the camera.
The Democratic Party Presidential nominee, in what seemed to many as a
scene from a TV soap, raised her palms to cover half her face awkwardly
mumbling that it was a live broadcast. A few moments later, Graham
quickly concluded his portion of the briefing.
Harris tried to make amends and show that she was paying attention and
asked a follow-up question in front of President Biden, who was also
attending the briefing in person. However, her words made it clear that
she landed herself in a soup.
Harris said,
“You mentioned words matter, and – um –I know there is a lot of – um –
media following this briefing. So, there have been – um – we’ve gone from
a [category] five to a [category] four, and the language that a lot of folks
have been using is ‘downgrade,’ but it sounds like you’re cautioning us
that that may communicate a sense that the danger is lessened, when, in
fact, it’s not. Can you talk a little bit about that?”
Just before her mic moment, it seemed that Harris was reading her
portion of the briefing from a script and had to repeatedly look at her desk
and urged Florida residents to take Hurricane Milton seriously.
Netizens vent their frustration on Kamala Harris
Netizens were quick to react to the incident, and one user stated,
‘I would be in a panic if she was actually in charge of any kind of
emergency response decisions’
Another wrote on X,
“Kamala Harris just got busted taking questions from an aide through her
earpiece. You can hear Kamala say, “It’s a live broadcast” as she covers
her face with her hands. Remember how she was accused of cheating in
the debate with her earrings?”
Another user wrote
“The media blitz by Harris is not going well. The more she is put in front of
the camera, the more people dislike her,”
A third user stated,
“As a longtime Floridian, I would be in a panic if she was actually in charge
of any kind of emergency response decisions. Thankful for DeSantis and
his great leadership and competence during these storms,”
Still, another lamented,
“Everything about Kamala Harris is fake and rehearsed! This lady can’t
seem to do anything without a script.”

thing he ever says, because depending on the audience
response may change it at a moment.

the cbs host on 60 minutes pointed out people don’t really know kamala
because she hasn’t had many interviews. now we find out we still haven’t
gotten to know kamala because she is just repeating what she hears.

directors telling people which camera is on, how long
they have to speak...this is standard practice. There's
a lot of moving parts.

i have not, just saw 2 versions in some news articles. please share it
most of the mainstream media is simply ignoring that in kamala’s only big
interview cbs edited her responses to make her look better. she still didn’t
come off looking good but i would have thought that such unethical
editing of what was supposed to be an interview was turned into a
