...that *I did not know before*...is that, bottom line,
we have a much larger proportion of our population in
this country who actually *crave and seek after actual
authoritarian/fascist leadership*...than I'd ever had any
idea existed...
I was *truly oblivious* to how many there were who are
*looking for someone to tell them what to do!* Looking
for Big Bad Daddy who will protect you with an iron fist
and expect only your total and complete adulation and
idolatry...which is OKAY, of course, because...wait for
it...to a JESUS MAN!!! Soooo...all they're doing is
surrendering to Jesus, in effect! Ch-ching! Home free on
all courts.
They simply don't *have the capacity to care about8 the
fate of their fellow human beings* under the fascist rule
they so desperately need for themselves... It's their own
fate and destiny on the line, don't we see? How would
they even consider anyone else?
And even more eyeball-bulging darker realities: Folks
who've had quietly (or not) smoldering fears of a)
darker-skinned races, b) those of alternate sexual
orientation, c) the poor, if they themselves are not, d)
the needy elderly, e) those with
disabilities/handicaps...they see electing the GOP as
having the ability to *wipe all that clean* from their
viewscreens, so to speak, so they don't have to see, have
their heartstrings pulled upon, have their minds and
sensibilities challenged to GROW and expand to allow in
deeper understanding of their fellow humans...
MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN means, literally: Whitewash
America clean of everything I don't like seeing and am
afraid of...and I'm still blinking pretty fast at just
how many of them there are............
Yet while these poor dears cannot, understandably, have
the energy to pay attention and care about this fact:
Unfortunately for them, there are far, far more of us who
do not sport these mind-crippiing, conscience-
obliterating fears that have the ability to pervert human
behavior out of all decency...than there are those who,
by virtue of either their young soul age or resistance
toward growth, or both, cannot help but divest themselves
of their humanity...
For them all I've got is all my love and all the prayer I
can muster...

Of the *rump voters I know, few think he is all that, most are tired of
higher prices and despair. They do not relate the lack of good jobs to
loss of union benefits, unions were sold as evil for the benefit of mobs.
They shop at Walmart because at first it was a wonder of choice, never
realizing the cheap goods would take out the local stores, and now have
no where else to shop or work.
So don't think of them as wanting fascism, they just want the easy
answer, the immediate gratification, and ate the sweet poison they were
fed by voices of angry authority with glee.
Everyone of them is addicted, to drink, smoke, food, or religion and
relies on it, *rump is just another quick fix, and promises as much.

Thank you for that perspective, mitra...
You and The Hierophant have both dialed me into ways that
some DJT supporters *come by their inclination* that I
hadn't realized, before, and I really appreciate it...
There are some pathways of it, so to speak, that are much
more benign and come into being almost unintentionally...if
that word can even be used...or, at least not quite so
dripping with intentional ill will...something I've perhaps
seen a bit too much of...
