Well...of course!...what else could've happened there? lolololol
***
It's not the first time Lance Wallnau has referred to dark arts to defend the former president.
A conservative, evangelical, pro-Trump preacher put his own dark magic spin on the right-wing accusation that ABC News — as the host network — rigged Tuesday’s presidential debate in favor of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, and against GOP nominee Donald Trump.
“When I say ‘witchcraft’ I am talking about what happened tonight,” Lance Wallnau wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
“Occult empowered deception, manipulation and domination. That’s what ABC pulled off as moderators, and Kamala’s script handlers set up the kill box,” the pastor continued.
“It’s not over yet,” Wallnau claimed, appearing to refer to Trump’s campaign.
“But something supernatural needs to disrupt this counterfeit momentum because the same public that voted in [former President Barack] Obama is voting again and her deception is advancing,” he added.
The “witchcraft” theory drew mockery.
Trump’s poor performance was slammed by pundits of all political persuasions.
Wallnau was an early supporter of Trump and has previously alleged “mind control and witchcraft” tactics from the media to take down the GOP nominee, claimed Harris represents “the spirit of Jezebel in a way that will be even more ominous than Hillary [Clinton] because she’ll bring a racial component and she’s younger,” likened Trump to biblical King Cyrus and has promoted Trump’s 2020 election lies.
Earlier this year, NBC News reported that Wallnau said the deadly Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol by Trump supporters “was not an insurrection” but instead “an election fraud intervention.”
Dallas, Texas-based Wallnau also once claimed that a gay bartender was “saved” by an “anointed” cake. “The power of God hit him while he was eating the cake,” he said in 2017.

It's amazing how many twists some of Trump's base will take rather than just admitting he had a bad debate.
Cognative dissonance: ognitive dissonance is a psychological conflict that occurs when a person holds two or more contradictory beliefs, values, or attitudes12345. People tend to seek consistency in their attitudes and perceptions, so this conflict causes unpleasant feelings of unease or discomfort1. If left unchecked, it could lead to anxiety and mental tension, and you might even try to rationalize harmful actions3
It's what happens when you are told over and over that Trump is a messiah, and can do no wrong...ever..then you watch him fall on his face as the very flawed mortal he truly is.
People short circuit and start shouting "witchcraft!" or "They're eating dogs and cats in Ohio!"
It would be just sad except for the part where they start "rationalizing harmful actions", like we all saw on January 6th.
