it would be good if trump wasn't complaining about
immigration and went to the Haitians do help them
regardless of his opinion. they are here and they need
support. the pope said both candidates are flawed in
their thinking. we need to vote for the lesser of two
evils. sheesh.

I'm not surprised at this, charlie, because your capacity
for refusing to understanding something obvious as the
Sun in the sky is impressive...but please grasp this:
Donald Trump DOES NTO CARE ABOUT ANYONE BUT HIMSELF,
least of all anyone with *brown skin*.........

Do you not remember his throwing paper towels at the
crowds in Puerto Rico, OUR OWN STATE, after the
hurricane? Or did you somehow read that as...helpful? lol

Can't help but wonder what your "lesser of two evils"
will be, though I'm sorry to say I think I know...

it's a choice between killing a baby or trying to keep
immigration under control. even rape or incest i cannot
approve of abortion because it is taking a life of a
human being. the soul arrives when the sperm and egg
are united. abortion is denying God in His creation.
to me that is where life begins. any other time is
conjecture.

EXCERPT:

It has been said that four-fifths of Haitians practice or fear Voodoo. Some argue this is a harmless belief system that adds intrigue to multiculturalism. But I
would learn that broadmindedness does not mean we must endorse malevolence.

Many have witnessed pain, suffering and death as a direct result of this deception. Voodoo encourages drunkenness, violence, lying, stealing, sexual excess, and
even the rape and murder (in not altogether rare cases) of infants and young children. There is an Abandoned Infant Unit at the public hospital in Port-au-Prince
that on any given day has between fifteen and thirty children who have been left to die. Many are found bent and broken in boxes, simply placed in front of the
hospital gates. Some have had their anuses and vaginas ripped open thanks to Voodoo practices.

This belief system is beyond superstition. There is some sort of actual spiritual force at work. The laws of nature are shifted. Using Voodoo, sorcerers can
transform themselves into werewolves known as loup garou and cause fatal accidents and illnesses. The most maleficent of sorcerers, a bokor, can manipulate the
forces of darkness—even Satan himself—to command the dead to inflict terrifying punishment on a victim. The intended victim will become weak and thin and spit up
blood and then die. He can avert this fate by paying an obligatory fee to the bokor to break the dead spirit’s hold. When asked how a loved one died, the answer
from many peasants around the slums is a sad and fearful shake of the head. “Loup garou,” they whisper; the werewolf.

Haitian newspapers sometimes chronicle such practices. Mostly, it’s quietly accepted. In certain quarters in Port-au-Prince, vats of human hands and heads are
popular sales items. A “long pig” is commonly-understood street slang for a human sacrifice. A ritualistic dinner of a baby’s arm or foot is more rare, but isn’t
unheard of.

In Haiti, a handicapped or deformed child is considered among Voodoo practitioners a curse to be discarded. Some people label this type of selection as horse-
shooting benevolence. A poor country, it’s argued, is better off without the infirm; better to kill a disabled child than have her grow up a beggar. But a child
breathes and dreams and feels and dies. I know. I was a child once whom some considered a curse.

If you are referring to the racist card that is not me, I strive to do no harm to my own kind in terms of species or to others of different species as in killing them or paying someone to kill them
for me so I can eat them...and you?

Then keep politics out of it and create a world where
pregnant women have the support they need, where the
children get the food, housing, schooling they need and
they are protected from the abusive, predators. And the
women who don't want to become pregnant have the
services they need.

Because you are clearly being played. They aren't
keeping babies alive, because the very states that are
"pro-forced birth" are the worst in health care for the
mother, have highest infant mortality, lowest quality
social services, at bottom for schools, and in my
state, even though the poverty level fell from 8th to
6th the governor denied lunches for the neediest
children.

These states are keeping a cretinous population to fill
out substandard jobs, keep the education and wages as
low as possible and the population malleable to
predatory politics. The benefits if they get hurt at
work are the lowest. So they compete for dangerous
jobs they cannot keep until retirement and if injured
become completely poverty stricken. That is barely
life, and suicide rates, death rates, prove it.

No, charlie. Your conclusion that the soul *always* arrives
within the fetus at conception IS NO LESS CONJECTURE THAN
ANYTHING ELSE...

Your personal experience that you've shared with us so many
times *proves nothing beyond what's true for YOU,* and your
attempt to project that into being true for ALL, in ALL
INSTANCES, is spiritual hubris...end of.

I've always been surprised that the humility I know and
feel to be true deep within you hasn't found its way to
this truth... ;(

Genesis: God gave life through breath.

And most cultures believe life begins at first breath,
Jewish life at halfway out of the birth canal.

Since I know you are probably aware aware of Pius XI
change of mind about life/conception in 1869, the
modern politics may be a surprise as it was to me:

"the religious right of the late twentieth century
organized to perpetuate racial discrimination.”
