Subject: what many fail to see and reflect on...

harris has to win the election first...lots of speculation on what she is going to do if she does...but to win an election it takes a broad coalition, across a wide range of people with varying needs and desires...it is a balancing act...and no easy task given the diverse and wide spectrum of ideologies and interests of the electorate...she has to be very careful in her presentation in order to win...

that said, who knows what she will do if elected...i think she is a good, intelligent person, with a good heart and really does care about the people she is supposed to represent...i do not see her as a loose cannon regarding foreign affairs...i see her as someone who will select capable people to surround herself with, to help her make the decisions that affect us all...i see none of those qualities in her opponent...so first, i want to see her elected...only then we can begin to assess and critique her policies and actions...

so once again party politics over policy? surely you have to understand
many want to know what her positions are before voting. it is a bit
unamerican to simply accept that she will say anything to get votes from
the diverse and wide spectrum of ideologies and interests of the
electorate and just have faith she will do the right things if elected

apparently, you can't google.

Took my 5 seconds to pull up her official campaign
page.

1 second to click on "issues" and pull up her proposed
policies and stands on issues.

Now, every section had big pull down menus.

The top five pulldowns are about the economy.

You can find it at the link. I doubt you'll actually
read it, but maybe others here will.

You seem more invested in complaining about problems
than solving them, or destroying the other candidate
rather than listening to anything they have to say.

Not surprising to hear the Economy has so many bullet
items, the Regime has done and left themselves lots of
work in that area.

Of course Marxism has never fixed an economy, what that
produces is Broke Back Better, or the Great Reset if
you will.

The needle has done serious damage to people and the
Economy. Especially the clotshot needle. Why don't
the Dems ever try to roast Trump for that? Cuz they
are equally complicit. At least Trump advocated for
effective rapid remedies as alternative to ineffective
so-called vaccines.

The vaccine has saved many people, including my own
mother.

The CTs around the vaccine have killed many, many
people...like my stepfather.

Again, no sale dude.

I responded to your post.

I'm saying, Harris's policies look far superior to me,
regardless of her party. As a senator, she did or
attempted to do what she said she was going to. I have
no reason to not believe she will do her best for the
whole country.

Trump's policies looks disasterous to me, regardless of
his party.

The link was for her policies..which she's discussed,
and anyone who wants to know them can go directly to
her site.

Trump has been the one, from infrastructure to health
care to "the wall" who never actually does what he
tells people he'll do. ... "I'll have that plan...very
soon, trust me...9 more years..."

We know one thing...Trump won't have an infrastructure
plan, Trump not only doesn't have a health care plan,
and his "concept" is no doubt a lie too. He's got
nothing.

His plan to fill the US coffers with tariffs on
everything across the board, tells us he still does not
understand how they work.

Let's say "the price of rice in China", for example, is
$1,000 a ton (no idea what it is, just easy math)...

US says they must pay a 20% tariff on it to sell it to
consumers.

Okay, they pay the extra $200 and it gets resold to US
consumers at $1200/ton (plus all the profits from
middlemen and retail stores tacked on). They still
break even.

the bag that sold for $5, now cost $5.40 to the
distributor, and $6.60 to the grocery story and $7 to
the end consumer, you and me. who pays?

Americans pay for that tariff.

Will that increase inflation: most certainly.

Multiply it on everything across the board food, home
goods, all products...

who suffers?
Americans

And Trump will tell you that you didn't pay it, China
did and stop whining and go back to your 12 hour job
you 14 yr old kid, and stop goldbricking. Then he'll
cut education budgets more because the kids are
smartasses for asking him about them. You know, if they
have enough to attend school by then because they had
to get a job to help their family afford the food.

That's Trump's plan
Nearly every major economic reviewer says it will hurt
Americans.

(excerpt regarding who will pay for Trump's
tariffs..factcheck.org):

"Trump was also wrong when he claimed Americans would
not pay higher prices due to tariffs, and that the
higher prices would be borne by the countries the
tariffs are levied against. Many nonpartisan economists
disagree about the amount that Trump’s proposed tariffs
would raise prices for American families, but most
agree it would be substantial..."

or, if you rather...Forbes (not exactly a lefty-
publication):

"While he has not yet committed to a single policy, the
ex-president has typically proposed raising tariffs by
10%, or by 60% on goods imported from China, up from
approximately 1% and 11% now, respectively, according
to data from research firm Wolfe Research cited by the
Wall Street Journal.
Harris slammed Trump’s plan in a speech on Friday,
saying it was “in effect, a national sales tax on
everyday products and basic necessities” and declaring
it a “Trump tax” on basic goods—causing the ex-
president to reinforce his commitment to the tariff
policy over the weekend.

Most experts say tariffs raise prices for consumers:
The cost of tariffs can be absorbed by some combination
of U.S. businesses that import goods, the customers who
purchase them and foreign businesses that export them—
which might lower their prices to make up for the
tariffs—but the right-leaning Tax Foundation found
previous tariffs levied during Trump’s first term were
paid by U.S. businesses and consumers.

Goldman Sachs economists led by Ronnie Walker projected
prices on consumer goods would go up by 0.1% for every
percentage increase in the effective tariff rate and
raise inflation rates for one year, noting that in
addition to the price of imported goods going up, it’s
also likely the price of domestic goods would increase,
because U.S. manufacturers would “opportunistically”
raise their prices to take advantage of having less
competition in the marketplace.

Economists also broadly believe Trump’s proposed tariff
plan would hurt the U.S. economy, with an analysis by
the nonpartisan think tank Peterson Institute for
International Economics (PIIE) concluding the proposal
would “[inflict] significant collateral damage on the
US economy,” citing a range of factors including
decreased consumer spending, increasing unemployment
rates and worse economic growth.

Moody’s projected Trump’s tariff plan would result in a
reduction of 675,000 U.S. jobs and increase the
unemployment rate by 0.4%, with Moody’s chief economist
Mark Zandi telling CNN, “If Trump increases tariffs as
he has proposed, the economy would likely suffer a
recession soon thereafter.” (link to full article
above)

It's horrible, and oppressive to working families.

There's no way in hell I'll vote for someone pushing
that plan.

Trump is an idiot.
